Where to find Hidden Faces in Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 – All Yggdrasil tree locations

Yggdrasil trees give you a little more context about the areas you’re exploring in Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, and they’re all hidden behind stone faces. So, here are all the locations of the Hidden Faces by each chapter.

Hidden Faces are the second kind of collectable you can find in Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, and they can be a bit tricky to spot. Each of them are carved into the rocks around you, and behind them hides Yggdrasil trees that have a story to tell. 

So, here are all the locations of Hidden Faces in Hellblade 2, including their locations in each chapter and how many you can find.

Where to find all Hidden Faces in Hellblade 2 Chapter 2

The first Hidden Face is in Chapter 2 of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, and there’s a second one to reveal, too. Here is where you can find both:

Hidden Face 1

The first Hidden Face can be found in the burnt-down village after you solve the puzzle in Freyslaug. 

When you’ve climbed up the hill, look for a lone light to the left of a house which is also on the left of the path you’re walking. Go toward the light, and the face will be right behind it against the house. 

Focus on the face using E or LT, similarly to how you would when you are looking for puzzle symbols, and the face will disappear and open a path to walk through. Go into this path and find the Yggdrasil tree. 

Hidden Face 2

The second Hidden Face is on the road you’re walking with the stranger after you’ve saved him from the Draugar ceremony and are walking the path back to Freyslaug with him. 

You’ll come across a stone with white symbols on it, and the Hidden Face is on the left path away from the main one you’re on. Walk to the left, and you’ll see the Face blocking the path you need to walk to find the Yggdrasil. 

Where to find all Hidden Faces in Hellblade 2 Chapter 3

There are five Hidden Faces in Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 Chapter 3, and here are all their locations:

Hidden Face 3

Hidden Face 3 can be found while walking with the stranger and the slaver to the village Illtauga is threatening. 

Look for a large area on the left where only a broken-down house can be seen. Walk on the left path alongside the house, and find another opening on the left you can walk through. Navigate around the rocks to the right, and the Hidden Face should be nestled in the rocks in this area. 

Hidden Face 4

Hidden Face 4 is in the same area as Hidden Face 3, you just need to travel up the main path a little more. 

On the right-hand side of the path is another broken-down house. Walk toward it, and look right to find another large open area with nothing in it. Go to the end of this large open area, and the Hidden Face is on the left side of the cliffside. 

Hidden Face 5

The fifth Hidden Face can be found while walking down the path to the Hiddenfolk. 

After speaking to the stranger in his village, leave toward the Hiddenfolk down the sets of wooden stairs. Once you’ve reached the path, walk down it for a little time, and you’ll find the Hidden Face on the left hand side. 

Hidden Face 6

Hidden Face 6 is in a location you can reach after you’ve completed the first puzzle to find the Hiddenfolk. 

Once you have completed the puzzle, head down the main path. The Hidden Face should be on the right-hand side of the path, just a little bit off of the main road. 

Hidden Face 7

The seventh Hidden Face can be found after you solve the second puzzle to try and find the Hiddenfolk. 

Walk down the main path and look for two ledges marked with white on the right-hand side. Climb up these ledges, and the Hidden Face should be on the path you find once you are up the second ledge.

Where to find all Hidden Faces in Hellblade 2 Chapter 4

There are four faces to find in Chapter 4 of Hellblade 2, and here are all their locations:

Hidden Face 8 

Hidden Face 8 is located in the Hiddenfolk cave, right after you solve the puzzle opening the lake. 

You’ll be crouched through most of this area, but the Hidden Face can be found fairly near the entrance on the left-hand side. It’ll be nestled between some rocks just off the main path. 

Hidden Face 9 

Hidden Face 9 can only be found while you are solving a puzzle inside the Hiddenfolk cave. 

After solving the first blue light puzzle, you’ll come across a lit brazier inside a cave that looks like it has no exit. Find the path to the brazier on the right-hand side, and after you’ve killed the flame, look behind you to find the Face.

Hidden Face 10

The 10th Hidden Face can be located after you’ve dropped down the large, dark hole in the Hiddenfolk cave.

After you’ve solved the first set of puzzles in the cave, you’ll go deeper inside by jumping down a large hole in the ground. When you hit the water, immediately turn around and you’ll find the 10th Hidden Face. 

Hidden Face 11

Hidden Face 11 is near some floating rocks after you escape the creatures in the cave by following the light. 

Once you give up your sword to the Hiddenfolk and escape the creatures inside, you’ll find yourself in a larger cave area with floating rocks around. Look for the ones straight ahead, and turn left along the path here. The Hidden Face will be around the corner. 

Where to find all Hidden Faces in Hellblade 2 Chapter 5

The last six Hidden Faces can all be found in Chapter 5 of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, and here are their locations:

Hidden Face 12

The first Hidden Face in Chapter 5 is on the path you take to reach the sea giant. 

While you’re walking the main path, look for a small waterfall along the right-hand side. Walk toward it, and you’ll find the Hidden Face nestled in the rocks underneath.

Hidden Face 13

The 13th Hidden Face can be found while walking with Astrior to find her village. 

Just before you reach the first climbing area with her, turn to the right of the path and the Hidden Face will be among the rocks. Focus in, and it’ll reveal a new pathway to the Yggdrasil tree.

Hidden Face 14

Hidden Face 14 is located just after Astrior leaves you to fight the Draugar. 

When you’ve defeated all the Draugar, return to the main path and keep an eye on the right-hand side of it. The Hidden Face is inside a collection of rocks just off the main path.

Hidden Face 15

The 15th Hidden Face is part of the beach puzzle you need to solve to find the Hiddenfolk. 

When you reach the second beach area, make sure that you use the bubble to remove the pieces of rock that it controls. Look for a crevice behind a broken down ship, and enter it. Look for the face on the right-hand side. It’s easier to see when you’re walking the other way, after finding the Lorestangir in this area.

Hidden Face 16

Hidden Face 16 is one of two Faces you can find in Astrior’s village, after you’ve listened to the Hiddenfolk’s story in the cave by the beach.

When you follow the main path, a small cutscene will play where you can see Sjavarrisi (the sea giant) in the village. Once you’ve reached this area, look for a path to the right you can follow toward some rocks. The Hidden Face should be nestled here, just to the side of a house and next to a fence.

Hidden Face 17

The last Hidden Face is next to a house when you’re coming back from the Hiddenfolk and looking for Astrior. 

Walk down the main pathway until you come to a divergent path. Take a left, and walk up the hill. Find and go past the Lorestangir here, but keep looking on the left-hand side. The Hidden Face is sitting next to a house just before you reach Astrior.
