Sealed Tunnel in Elden Ring

The Sealed Tunnel is a dungeon in Elden Ring that carries some notable items including Smithing-Stone Miner’s Bell Bearing 2. So, here’s where you can find the Sealed Tunnel dungeon in Elden Ring.

Elden Ring is packed with hidden locations that require careful exploration to uncover, with an example being the Sealed Tunnel. This mini-dungeon hides in plain sight in the Capital Outskirts region and is pretty easy to miss.

Venturing into the dungeon can reward you with some loot and a unique weapon. It also has an interesting field boss waiting to be felled by the Tarnished. On that note, here’s where you can find the Sealed Tunnel dungeon in Elden Ring.

Sealed Tunnel location in Elden Ring

To find the Sealed Tunnel in Elden Ring, take the road heading east from the Outer Wall Phantom Tree Site of Grace until you spot a small water body. Use the stones sloping downwards to dip into the water and ride past the Land Squirts, towards an opening in the rock formation behind them.

Sealed Tunnel Elden Ring location
The Sealed Tunnel is located on the outskirts of Leyndell.

You’ll eventually see a Site of Grace and a Stake of Marika placed right ahead of it. Attack the rock wall between the Stake and a fire fixture to open up an Illusory Wall, and head further into the Sealed Tunnel.

You’ll encounter many Miners in this location who can tank through Physical attacks, so try not to take on multiple enemies at once. You’ll also come across a notoriously difficult Abductor Virgin, who is primarily weak to Lightning damage.

Elden Ring: Sealed Tunnel boss guide

The Sealed Tunnel in Elden Ring is home to the Onyx Lord field boss, who isn’t particularly difficult. His attacks can be dodged easily and he offers nothing in terms of long winding combs. The only thing you’ll have to look out for are his Gravitational Sorcercies, like the Meteorite shower which commences after he plunges his sword into the ground.

Maintain your distance, avoid his AoEs, and find the windows between attacks to dish out the damage. He is also weak to Standard, Slash, Pierce, and Strike damage types.

Defeating the boss will give you 16,000 Runes and Onyx Lord’s Greatswoord.

Once the fight’s wrapped up, you can take the pathway behind him to access Rykard’s Divine Tower. You can access it if you’ve defeated the Lord of Blasphemy, and acquire Rykard’s Great Rune.
