Where to get Dandelion Seeds in Genshin Impact
Dandelion Seeds in Genshin Impact are useful for crafting dishes and ascending characters like Jean and Eula. Here’s everything to know about collecting Dandelion Seeds in Genshin Impact.
Characters in Genshin Impact unleash their true potential with ascension, leveled up talents, artifacts, and weapons. To do so, players must collect ingredients, defeat opponents like Treasure Hoarders, and farm domains.
If you want to add Eula or Jean to your roster, you will need a decent amount of Dandelion Seeds as both these five-star characters require this item for ascension. While Eula is an explosive five-star Cryo damage dealer that uses Claymore during combat, Jean is a five-star Anemo healer who can also fulfill the role of a sub DPS.
Here’s a guide to finding Dandelion Seeds in Genshin Impact.
How to collect Dandelion Seeds in Genshin Impact
You must have an Anemo character in your party to get Dandelion Seeds in Genshin Impact. You will find a shiny light blue plant in the open world but you won’t be able to collect it unless you perform an Anemo attack.

The Dandelion Seeds separate from the plant with an Anemo attack and can be collected thereafter.
Dandelion Seeds locations in Genshin Impact
Dandelion Seeds only spawn in the Mondstadt region of Genshin Impact. Here are some of the best places to find them:
Mondstadt city gates
You’ll find seven Dandelion plants right outside the Mondstadt city gates. After getting them, go towards the eastern shore to get two more plants.
Starfell Valley
Eleven Dandelion Seeds are scattered in the Starfell Valley of Mondstadt. You can reach some plants easily by teleporting to nearby waypoints while others will compel you to walk, climb, and swim.
Galesong Hill
You can get two Dandelion Seeds from the northeastern edge of Galesong Hill in Mondstadt. The region has ten more Dandelion Seeds but unfortunately, they are quite far from any Statues of the Seven or Teleport Waypoints.
East of Dragonspine
Towards the east of Dragonspine, there’s a deserted grassland with ten Dandelion Seeds. You won’t find any teleport waypoints but walking here for the seeds is certainly worth the effort.
Wolvendom
Lastly, the Wolvedom region in Mondstadt has six Dandelion Seeds. Use the three Teleport Waypoints and the Statue of Seven to access them quickly.
It is worth noting that Dandelion Seeds respawn in two days in the game. You’ll be able to get more than 30 Dandelion Seeds with this guide and by repeating the farming procedure for a few weeks, you should have enough supplies to fully ascend Jean and Eula.
