Who is Verina in Wuthering Waves?
Described as a “humble and determined plant breeder,” Verina in Wuthering Waves loves nature. A botanist from the New Federation, Verina is as kind-hearted and cheerful as she looks. That’s as much as we know about her.
Since Verina is from one of the first nations you’ll visit in Wuthering Waves, chances are you’ll see her very early.
When will Verina be released in Wuthering Waves?
Verina in Wuthering Waves is one of five standard banner units, so she’ll be available right at launch on May 22, 2024.
This means you can unlock her through the Permanent Character banner, Novice Wish, or by losing your 50-50 in the limited banner.

In Wuthering Waves, Verina is a 5-star Spectro Resonator, and she’ll wield a Rectifier in combat. Verina is the only Spectro unit available at launch.
Wuthering Waves Verina full kit & abilities
Verina in Wuthering Waves is a healer and a buffer, having both of these qualities makes her a solid addition to any team. Here’s her full kit:
- Basic Attack (Cultivation) – Perform up to 5 attacks, causing Spectro DMG.
- Heavy Attack: Consumes stamina and dashes forward dealing Spectro DMG.
- Mid-air attack: Deals continuous attacks that cause Spectro DMG.
- If you hold your Basic Attack during mid-air, Verina will perform a Plunging Attack dealing Spectro DMG.
- Dodge Counter – Use Basic Attack after a successful Dodge to attack and deal Spectro DMG.
- Resonance Skill (Botany Experiment) – Gather energy forward and summon plants that’ll grow rapidly and deal Spectro DMG.
- Resonance Liberation (Arboreal Flourish Healing Amount) – Promotes the rapid growth of surrounding vegetation that’ll deal Spectro DMG and heal party members. She’ll also apply a “Photosynthesis Mark” to targets.
- Whenever the enemy bearing the mark is hit, it’ll restore health, and Verina will deal a coordinated attack causing Spectro DMG.
- Forte Circuit (Starflower Blooms) – When casting Heavy Attack, if Verina has Photosynthesis Energy, you’ll consume the energy and recover 12 points of Concerto Energy, as well as heal all characters in the team.
- Intro Skill (Spread) – Attacks the target, dealing Spectro damage.
- Outro Skill (Blossom) – Each second, heal 19% of Verina ATK as health, and all teammates gain a 15% increase in total damage.
- Passives:
- When a character receives a fatal injury, they will not die and will receive a shield worth 120% of Verina’s ATK.
- When using the Resonance Skill, Liberation, or Outro Skill, the attack of the characters in the team is increased by 20%.
Verina gains 1 Photosynthesis Energy when her 5th Basic Attack, Resonance Skill, or Intro Skill hits an enemy.
