Does Zenless Zone Zero have co-op & multiplayer?

Zenless Zone Zero took players by storm with its fast-paced action and spectacular visuals, but can you play it with friends? HoYoverse’s Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd can be enjoyed with friends who can join your world in certain game modes, so you must be wondering if ZZZ features co-op as well.

Is there multiplayer or co-op in Zenless Zone Zero?

Yes, Zenless Zone Zero features multiplayer/co-op but only in the Arcade mode for now. The Notorious Hunt game mode is set to get a multiplayer feature as well, but the devs confirmed it will come with future updates.

Two games in the Godfinger Arcade can be played with other players – Snake Duel – Clash and Soul Hounds III – Group Hunt. The first is inspired by the classic Snake mobile game while the latter is a puzzle game where you need to break blocks to reach the bottom of an endless pit.

Once you select the game, matchmaking will start. If you touch the ‘+’ button, you’ll be able to invite friends to play with you.

As you can see in the image below, before entering a Notorious Boss in Zenless Zone Zero in the Closed Beta Tests, you’d get the option to either enter solo or make it a multiplayer challenge. There will probably be a level requirement to play co-op, so we’ll make sure to update this guide once we have more details about it.

In this mode, each player will control one character, meaning you’ll have to work together to take down the toughest challenges in the game. To play alongside friends, all players must use accounts created on the same server, so keep that in mind.
