Zenless Zone Zero had a great launch, and players are excited about what’s coming next with new Agents like Jane and QingYi.

Here’s everything we know about Jane Doe so far, a mysterious character set to debut very soon in ZZZ.

Who is Jane in Zenless Zone Zero?

Jane Doe is part of the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team, the faction that will debut with Zhu Yuan in phase 2 of version 1.0.

While she hasn’t been officially revealed by HoYoverse, players can see her in Zenless Zone Zero’s release trailer alongside Zhu Yuan, QingYi, and Seth. We don’t have many details about Jane, but leaked animations show her using her mouse-like features to strike enemies with extreme speed.

When is Jane coming to Zenless Zone Zero?

According to leaks, Jane will debut with the version 1.1 update of ZZZ that’s set to arrive around August 15, 2024. She’ll headline phase 2 of the update, right after QingYi’s banner.

The same leak suggests Seth will debut alongside Jane Doe, completing the Public Security faction in the game.

Jane leaked abilities

• Blade Dance (Basic Attack) – Attacks forward up to six times, dealing Physical DMG.
• Frenzy – When Jane uses one of her abilities and deals damage to enemies, Frenzy Flow accumulates. When it reaches its maximum, Jane enters the Frenzy state. In this state, her Anomaly Buildup increases by 20%. Additionally, her ATK increases based on her Anomaly Mastery. When Jane uses a move that causes damage while in the Frenzy state, Frenzy Flow is consumed.
• Sachoff Jump (Basic Attack) – Launches a rapid series of attacks forward, followed by a finishing blow, dealing Physical DMG.
• Afterimage (Dodge) – A rapid dodge that makes Jane invulnerable. She has an extra dodge and can pass through enemies while in the Frenzy state.
  • Blade Jump (Dash Attack) – Slashes forward, dealing Physical DMG.
  • Virtual Dash (Dash Attack) – While in Frenzy state, performs three rapid forward slashes, dealing Physical DMG.
  • Shadow (Dodge Counter) – Launches multiple slashes at the enemy in front, then stabs downward, dealing Physical DMG.
• Air Grab (Special Attack) – Leaps into the air, kick forward continuously, then sweep horizontally, dealing Physical DMG.
  • Air Sweep (EX Special Attack) – Leaps into the air, kick forward multiple times, then sweep horizontally, dealing massive Physical DMG.
• Sin Blossoms (Chain Attack) – Slashes enemies in front, dealing massive Physical DMG. When this move is activated, Jane enters the Frenzy state.
• Final Act (Ultimate) – Slashes enemies in front and launches a finishing blow, dealing massive Physical DMG.

Jane is an S-Rank Physical Agent in Zenless Zone Zero, and her leaked abilities teases her as a very fast unit. While we don’t know her Fighting Style yet, her Frenzy skill seems to point at her being an Anomaly character. This means she can apply Assault on enemies very fast to finish them off in no time.

Of course, all of Jane’s details come from leaks, so we recommend taking them with a grain of salt for now. We’ll update this guide once HoYoverse reveal more about the character.
