Warzone Caldera thermite trick Season 3 Reloaded

Getting stuck with a Thermite has traditionally meant a swift death, but if you react quickly, this genius Warzone trick will allow you to survive the tricky situation.

While most Warzone players will be trying to figure out how the meta has changed following the Season 3 Reloaded update, one player has made a discovery that could be useful to players with quick reflexes.

Warzone’s Lethal Equipment options can prove difficult to handle in enemy hands. Perhaps none are as frightening as the Thermite, a piece of Lethal Equipment that can down you in seconds. However, a genius Warzone trick has revealed the ultimate counter for enemy Thermites.

Trophy System in Warzone Pacific

Thermite is designed to stick to any surface on impact and burn whatever it touches for a short period of time. When stuck to a Warzone Operator, Thermite usually burns through armor and knocks the player down, setting up an easy kill.

Up until Season 3 Reloaded, getting stuck with a Thermite meant certain death, but a clip posted to the Warzone subreddit demonstrates a genius trick for escaping death by Thermite.

The clip shows how a player stuck with a Thermite is saved from its clutches by throwing a Trophy System. The key factor here is that the Trophy System was thrown after the player got stuck with the Thermite, which proves that Trophy Systems can destroy Thermites after they stick to players.

As the player who posted the clip explains, “You can clearly see the hitmarker the trophy gives off when it detonates a lethal, point here being I didn’t know it can save a guy from certain death like this dude here.”

Several players in the comments claimed that they had no idea this was possible and that they’d look to add the trick to their repertoire, “gonna have to remember now to throw a trophy if I have it on me and get stuck lol.”

It seems keeping a Trophy System by your side could get you out of a tricky situation if used correctly.
