Genshin Impact Chronicled Wish banner explained: All characters, pity, more
HoYoverseGenshin Impact announced another limited banner that’ll be available following the release of version 4.5. If you’re wondering what it is, including the type of wish it requires, here’s everything you need to know.
Version 4.5 will introduce plenty of new QoL changes as well as a new playable character in Chiori. HoYoverse’s RPG now features more than 80 characters, but as Genshin Impact‘s colorful cast continues to grow, sometimes it takes more than a year before certain units pop up again in the limited banner.
It has been one of the major frustrations for players, and to address it, HoYoverse announced in their March 2024 Special Program livestream that the game will get a third limited banner, Chronicled Wish, in the upcoming 4.5 update.
Here is everything revealed about Chronicled Wish, from characters to weapons, as well as how it works.

How does Chronicled Wish banner work in Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact Chronicled Wish is a third limited banner that features a select few characters and weapons that were otherwise not featured in recent banners. You’ll need a limited banner wish, Intertwined Fate, for Chronicled Wish.
It is reserved for characters that already have been featured three times in the limited banner but were without a banner for the past three versions of Genshin Impact. This means newer characters, like Neuvillette and Furina, are not eligible until they’ve had three or more re-runs.
Likewise, all the characters and weapons within the banner will be rotated from time to time, but HoYoverse haven’t yet detailed the exact schedule. We’ll be sure to update this article whenever it is announced, so circle back for the latest news.
Genshin Impact Chronicled Wish pity system explained
Much like the regular banner, Chronicled Wish in Genshin Impact also has a pity system, which is 90 wishes. You can, of course, get the character or weapon before reaching the 90 wish pity, but each number 90 will guarantee the rate up if you haven’t received one already.
Given that there are multiple characters and weapons, you can target any one specific character or weapon, similar to the weapon banner.
It is also a 50-50 chance. So, suppose you selected Albedo, you can either receive him or any other character from the banner in your first 90 pulls. In case you receive someone else, your next 90-pull will guarantee you Albedo.
