Genshin Impact Sethos kit
Sethos is an Electro character in Genshin Impact who wields a Bow. He is a Main DPS unit that is quite squishy, but has a versatile playstyle that can fit in every situation you’re in. Here’s his full kit breakdown:
Normal Attack – Royal Reed Bowmanship
- Normal Attack: Performs three consecutive strikes.
- Charged Attack: A standard aimed shot with increased damage. While aiming, Sethos will charge Electro power on his arrows. There are two Charge Levels that change depending on how long the energy has been charged. Charge Level 1 fires an array carrying the power of lightning that deals Electro damage. Charge Level 2 fires off a Shadowpiercing Shot that also deals Electro damage to enemies along its path. Sethos can’t move after the Shadowpiercing Shot is fully charged.
- Plunging Attack: Same as any other Bow user; fires off a shower of arrows dealing AoE damage upon impact.
Elemental Skill – Ancient Rite: Thunderous Roar of Sand
Sethos deals AoE Electro DMG to enemies and quickly retreats. If the Electro DMG triggers Electro-Charged, Superconduct, Overloaded, Quicken, Aggravate, Hyperbloom, or Electro Swirl reactions, Sethos will recover a certain amount of Elemental Energy.

Elemental Burst – Secret Rite: Twilight Shadowpiercer
Sethos enters a state called Twilight Meditation which turns his normal attacks into Electro. After that, all new shots and Dusk Bolts will pierce enemies. The damage of attacks will increase based on Sethos’ Elemental Mastery, and it is considered a Charged Attack DMG.
Elemental Burst Stats (level 10):
- Dusk Bolt DMG Increase: 307% Elemental Mastery
- Twilight Meditation Duration: 8s
- CD: 15s
- Energy Cost: 60
Sethos Talent Passives
- Black Kite’s Enigma: The time required for the charged attack is decreased by 0.285s based on Sethos’ current elemental energy. If a Charge Level 2 attack is fired, it’ll only consume 50% of the said energy.
- The Sand King’s Boon: Every 15 seconds, Sethos will get a special “Scorching Sandshade” effect that’ll have his piercing charged attack’s damage increased by 700% of his EM. The effect lasts only 5 seconds, but if Sethos hits his first shot under the effect, the cooldown will reset.
- Thoth’s Revelation: Shows the location of nearby resources unique to Sumeru on the mini-map.
Sethos Constellations
- C1 “Sealed Shrine’s Spiritsong“ : The CRIT Rate of his charged attack is increased by 15%.
- C2 “Papyrus Scripture of Silent Secrets”: Sethos will gain a 15% Electro DMG bonus (up to 2 stacks) if the following conditions are met:
- C3 “Ode to the Moonrise Sage“: Increase Normal Attack level by 3.
- C4 “Beneficent Plumage“: If Sethos’ charged attack hits an opponent, all nearby party members will gain 80 Elemental Mastery.
- C5 “Record of the Desolate God’s Burning Sands“: Increase Sethos Elemental Burst level by 3.
- C6 “Pylon of the Sojourning Sun Temple“: If Sethos’ piercing charged attack hits an opponent, the Energy consumed through the first passive to save time will be refunded. It can trigger every 15 seconds.
- Sethos regains Energy through his Elemental Skill.
- Uses his Elemental Burst.
- Uses Energy from his first passive, Black Kite’s Enigma, to save charged attack time.
When can you pull Sethos in Genshin Impact?
Sethos became part of phase 1 of Genshin Impact version 4.7, which was released on June 5, 2024.
