Ghosts will have a co-op mode; what could IW be working on?

Infinity Ward’s Candice Capen has confirmed that Call of Duty: Ghosts will have a co-op mode “of sort.” Eric Hirshberg, during Xbox Reveal Event, said IW will bring “new co-op ideas.”

Ever since Modern Warfare 2, Infinity Ward has added their ‘Special Ops’ co-op mode. This is a mission style mode where you and a partner have to complete a certain objective. The locations for the ‘ops’ took place in locations depicted in the campaign.

Treyarch is known for their Zombies co-op mode, which has gotten lots of fans to play on Zombies in Treyarch games.

What iconic mode can Infinity Ward add to change things up in Ghosts?

Nothing has been officially confirmed yet, we could only speculate what they could possibly add. Ghosts is about “stealth”, which makes us wonder if there’ll be a new stealth driven mode of some sort. Another possibility would be a mode driven by using the dog. Players could use the dog to play entire missions throughout the mode.

One thing we do hope Infinity Ward adds is the ability to play with 4 players. Spec Ops is currently limited to only 2.
