GTA 6 amusement park map leaks debunked

There are rumors that GTA 6 will take place in Vice City, but one leaker has claimed that these are fake and were started by him.

Vice City in GTA

Various rumors pointed to GTA 6 taking players back to Vice City, with a theme park being on the new map. Now, one man has taken credit for setting them up as an elaborate scam.

There is a ton of speculation regarding Rockstar’s GTA 6. While we haven’t gotten much information from the devs, various leaks have given us some indicator of things like the game’s release date.

A Vice City map ‘leaked’ two months ago, with one notable leaker even drawing concept art that supports rumors of that being the game’s setting. We then got a first look at an in-game amusement park.

However, these rumors seem to be an elaborate scam by one man.

GTA 6 theme park leaked map

GTA 6 was reported to feature a theme park called Fred’s Fun World, with its map layout being leaked online. However, it seems that this was a fake by a man named ‘Tim McDowell.’

A post on Medium goes over why the recent leaks of the GTA 6 map are fake and also has a link to the YouTube video by McDowell.

“That’s right, I did this. I faked all of it,” the post reads. “Every leak regarding GTA VI on the entire internet. It was me. And I will strike again. You’ll never see me coming.”

The video itself features ‘Clubbed to Death’ by Rob Dougan playing as the “leaker” showcases the entire GTA 6 map from a new camera angle.

Many users on Reddit found the amusement park map to be very detailed, and it seemed in line with Rockstar’s usual humor. In his video, McDowell talked about this leak, mainly Fred Quincy himself.

“Dear GTA community, I have an IQ of 198,” said the leaker. “My goals are beyond your understanding. My graphic design skills are mediocre at best.”

The user then signed off after warning fans that they’d strike again, and the community would have to put up with more fake leaks. Hopefully, we’ll get some official GTA 6 content from Rockstar soon enough.

Excitement is at an all-time high in the world of Fortnite, as the highly anticipated live event for Season 7 will be taking place very soon.

Many things have made Fortnite one of the most popular games in the world over the past couple of years, with one of the most important being the exciting live events that Epic Games has pulled off over the course of the game’s many seasons.

These live events have been everything from concerts to giant battles where millions of players have been able to experience the adrenaline-fueled action simultaneously.

While the end of Season 6 and the start of Season 7 did not see a live event occur, this does not look to be the case for the end of Season 7 and the start of Season 8, as a Fortnite live event will indeed be taking place.

Each of the shows will be the same experience except that players can experience different effects depending on the outfit they are wearing on their character, so those looking for a little twist on their second or third viewing can throw on a new outfit to see what it offers during the Fortnite Ariana Grande concert.

It is also important to note that even if you RSVP for one of the Fortnite Ariana Grande concert shows, it will not guarantee you a spot in the event’s server for your region’s time.

Epic Games advises players to get into the game 60 minutes before the start of the show they want to attend, as the Rift Tour event playlist will go live 30 minutes before each show.

Apex Legends Season 10: How Seer could knock Gibraltar out of the meta

Although Seer hasn’t been out for long in Apex Legends, players are starting to see his potential and how he could become a star in the meta.

Apex Legends Seer meta

Apex Legends’ new addition to the roster, Seer, is already proving to be controversial, with some players even claiming he may push Gibraltar out of the meta.

Apex Legends players have been gifted with a host of new content thanks to the Season 10 update. As well as some interesting changes to weapons, Seer has joined the fight and may potentially offer a shift in the current meta.

Of course, some of the Legend buffs and nerfs have also shifted the meta slightly, but some pros are actually claiming that Seer could shift the meta the most out of any Legend, so let’s get into why.

Seer is a new Recon Legend whose abilities are based on gaining information on the enemy’s location.

Further, his tactical, Focus of Attention doesn’t only highlight the enemy when scanned. It also shows their health bar, cancels their healing item if in use, and stops players in the process of reviving downed teammates.

It seems this tactical ability is where players believe the power is, and could potentially be why Gibraltar has pushed out the meta if we see more Seer players in the competitive scene.

Apex Legends Seer shifting the meta

In a recent stream, professional Apex Legends competitor, Albralelie, said that Seer could be a huge problem in competitive Apex Legends. This is because his tactical can basically stop enemy teams from executing a bubble reset.

A bubble reset is when a team can either get a revive or healable off inside the temporary cover of Gibraltar’s Dome of Protection. This has been a staple strategy of competitive Apex Legends for some time now and is also the main reason Gibraltar is so strong in the scene.

However, with the introduction of Seer, players will basically be able to cancel players healing and reviving inside of the bubble with Seer’s tactical, especially as the ability has a long and wide range, making it easy to hit a whole team inside of the dome.

Further, if timed correctly, Seer will actually be able to fully stop a revive and heal by timing it so that the bubble disappears soon after the cancel, a very strong counter to Gibraltar’s most useful tool.

This could actually see Caustic enter the meta over Gibraltar, especially after his most recent buff that makes his gas more prominent. Caustic’s gas lasts much longer than Gibraltar’s dome. Although it doesn’t offer as much protection, it can give teams more time to reset without having to worry about Seer teams capitalizing off canceling a revive or heal.

This is very interesting, and although it may not happen, as teams may still opt for Bloodhound over Seer, if a strong Seer meta enters the competitive scene, we could see Gibraltar counter more often, forcing players to switch Legends or change playstyles.
