GTA Online’s Dec 22 update brings the new Itali RSX Sports Car, snow, other Festive Surprises, and much more. The game is still very much reeling from its massive launch of the Cayo Perico Heist, but Rockstar is relentless in the desire to make GTA Online great.
The long-awaited release of the Cayo Perico Heist finally brought an island extension to Los Santos nearly seven years after the game’s original release. It’s fair to say that lots of people are still making the most of all the new content that the update added.
But Rockstar is certainly not stopping there as they have rolled out another weekly GTA Online update with shiny new items and eye-opening discounts to lure in potential buyers.
Thanks to renowned GTA leaker TezFunz2, here’s everything you need to know about the December 22 update.
GTA Online update & patch notes December 22
New cars: Itali RSX & Veto Modern
As well as vehicles added with the Cayo Perico expansion, GTA Online has now added two more stunning vehicles to own in the form of the Itali RSX and the Veto Modern.
The Itali RSX will set you back a whopping $3,465,000, but that’s because it’s a ferocious speedster that will ruin the tarmac with its speed.
Here’s the vehicle’s official description:
“Warning: NSFW. There’s a sexy single car in your area looking for a ride. Interested? Just open a private tab and check out these candid pics of the RSX’s sultry bodywork, hourglass waist, soft front, and silken A-line. But before you take it to the next level and see what’s under the hood, turn off your webcam and mute your mic. The conference call you’re ignoring is about to see your o-face.“
The Veto Modern is an equally sleek-looking design that makes go-karts premium. It won’t quite burn a hole in your wallet like the Itali RSX, but you’ll still need to fork out $995,000 to own it.
Here’s the official description of it:
“So you think you’re worthy of the Veto Modern? You better be. This vehicle is so sophisticated, so sleek, so moderately powerful, that it’s road legal. We think. We haven’t verified that yet…“
Diamond Casino Lucky Wheel Reward
If splurging absurd money on exotic new cars isn’t your thing, then you can always rely on the trusty Lucky Wheel to gamble on a posh new ride for cheap.

Festive Surprise & Still Slipping Los Santos
Snow is in Los Santos! As a yearly tradition, players can bask in a completely white Los Santos as snow will fall for the next few days. Head into GTA Online and you’ll find white for miles around and don’t forget to put down the pistols, pick up a snowball, and enjoy this rare occasion.
It’s well and truly the most wonderful time of year and decorations, snow, and Xmas trees all contribute to this. In addition to the themed scenery, players can expect a free Festive Mask when they login to wear and sing Christmas songs with.
Other login bonuses consist of:
- Liveries: It’s A Wrap for Akula, Technical Custom, Half-Track, Galaxy For Streiter, Anti-Aircraft Trainer, and Oppressor
- General log in bonuses: Red Bleeder Festive Sweater, Green Cluckin’ Festive Sweater
- Brioso 300: Now available for free
Make sure to check shops too as there are masks everywhere to be bought.
Los Santos’s newest radio station is also here to treat your ears. The new experimental station favors the stylings of Electronic, UK Hip-Hop, and Dancehall music.
But there are 10 radio antennas located in Los Santos that you will need to collect in order to make Still Slipping Los Santos listenable across all of the map. Collect the antennas and you’ll get the radio station and a healthy cash bonus too, so make sure you use our guide on where to find the Still Slipping antennas for a $250k GTA Online bonus.

What could Dr Disrespect’s battle royale look like? Midnight Society, Project Moon details
Popular streamer Dr Disrespect launched Midnight Society to develop his own game, so what could his battle royale look like?
Mustachioed FPS streamer Dr Disrespect has founded his own studio to develop a shooter to rival Warzone and Apex Legends. Here’s everything we know about Midnight Society’s project, and what the Two-Time’s very own battle royale game could look like.
Herschel “Guy” Beahm IV, better known as Dr Disrespect, is one of the most popular streamers in the world. Known for his mullet, mustache, and shades, Dr Disrespect plays a variety of the most popular FPS games – although he offers intense criticism from time to time.
A former game developer, Dr Disrespect has now launched Midnight Society, a studio that’s developing a game to rival the most popular shooters and battle royale games.
Not much is known about the upcoming project, but we’re breaking down everything we know to piece together what Dr Disrespect’s battle royale game could look like.
- What will Dr Disrespect’s game look like?
- What could Dr Disrespect’s game be inspired by?
- Dr Disrespect’s battle royale developers
- Dr Disrespect battle royale title
What will Dr Disrespect’s game look like?
Officially, we know that Dr Disrespect’s game will be a “PVP online multiplayer game” that’s built “from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5.” And while details are scarce at this stage, Dr Disrespect has teased that Midnight Society are developing a “vertical BR.”
From the concept art that Doc has teased, it appears that the action would take place over several floors, with fire acting as the ‘circle’ that pushes players together as more and more die off. This concept has likely evolved, but the Midnight Society Founders event taking place in LA on July 29 could reveal more details.
It will also take on a different style of development, for which they’ve coined the term ‘Day Zero Community.’ This will have players involved early in the development process where they could be “testing reload times and recoil patterns in a firing range or jumping in for the first-ever PVP sessions.”
Further, the game is also said to involve NFTs and Web3, as Dr Disrespect announced Midnight Society’s deal with Polygon in May 2022. The deal is said to establish player ownership of in-game items, which could be very innovative.
It also looks like the game will have a ranked mode at launch, with the developers confirming that “the pros, the players, the teams, the content creators,” will get insight into “design decisions, feature prioritizing, and balancing discussions when that feedback could be used.”
What could Dr Disrespect’s battle royale be inspired by?
Dr Disrespect will play almost anything where you can shoot a gun, but he lives by the motto “Violence, Speed, Momentum,” and looks for it in the games he plays.
After finding success in PUBG, Dr Disrespect is all over anything in the battle royale genre and believes that traditional multiplayer games such as Halo Infinite needs a battle royale to survive. However, he’s been extremely critical of Warzone over the past year, slamming its aim assist, server issues, lack of map changes, audio, and more.
Looking at Dr Disrespect’s back catalog of games, it’s clear that the battle royale genre is where Doc’s heart lies and is most certainly going to be the focus of his own game. It should also seek to fix everything Doc has complained about in other shooters.
In a stream from June 27, the Doc stated that the game will be inspired by the games that he and the developers play, “whether it’s a battle royale game, whether it’s a survival game, whether it’s an extraction shooter kind of experience…this game that we’re building is going to sort of grab a lot of inspiration from all these different genres and we’re gonna kind of create our own PVP/PVE narrative and experience.”
Dr Disrespect’s battle royale developers
Dr Disrespect launched Midnight Society along with two industry titans, Robert Bowling and Quinn DelHoyo.
Bowling is a former Infinity Ward dev who oversaw the release of each game in the original Modern Warfare trilogy. He’s since worked with gaming and esports companies such as NRG and EA, but is now co-founder and Studio Head of Midnight Society.
DelHoyo is a former Gears of War and Halo developer who has held a number of roles such as Multiplayer Designer, Lead Weapons Designer, and Sandbox Designer. He’s now co-founder and Creative Director of Midnight Society.
Here’s the rest of the Midnight Society team:
- Sumit Gupta – CEO and co-founder
- Ryan Thompson – Gameplay Engineer
- Eric Hallquist – Concept Artist
- HB Duran – Marketing & PR
Bowling has also teased that “We’ve got an incredible team in the wings, several key hires still not announced (as they wrap up their current roles) and we’re just getting started.”
With the talent Dr Disrespect’s game has on board, we could see elements of Call of Duty, Gears of War, and Halo, with a focus on esports.
Dr Disrespect battle royale title
There’s no way of knowing what the title of Dr Disrespect’s battle royale game will be, but it’s currently code-named “Project Moon.” The concept art is labeled as “Vertical BR,” but this is probably for internal use only.
The title could link to Dr Disrespect by being called ‘The Arena’ or something to that effect, or it may be separated from the Two-Time entirely.
To summarize, Dr Disrespect’s game:
- Is a PVP online multiplayer game built on Unreal Engine 5
- Is helmed by ex-Call of Duty and Halo developers
- Could be a “vertical battle royale” that takes place across several floors of a skyscraper
- Will involve the community in its development
- Will have a focus on esports

Ultimate Team Shapeshifters explained
The Shapeshifters promo is a fan favorite due to its unique tendency to have top players in unconventional positions. This promo takes players out of their standard position and allows you to build a squad with more options at your disposal.
This drastic change opens the door to new squad-building possibilities. These special cards received rating boosts, SM/WF upgrades, and position changes, which makes Shapeshifters a top-tier promo.
Throughout the Shapeshifters promo, players will be able to earn Summer Swaps Tokens that they can later exchange for valuable rewards. Summer Swaps Tokens rewards include Shapeshifters Kimpembe and several Shapeshifters player picks.
FIFA 22 Shapeshifters Team 1

Shapeshifters Team 2 is looking equally as strong as Team 1. Ultimate Team fans should be excited to receive a promo that includes Ronaldo and Messi so soon after TOTS. Marcelo and Ronaldo are the two most sought-after cards, but Ramos isn’t too far behind.
FIFA 22 Shapeshifters Team 3 FUT Hero leaks
According to FIFA leaker FutSheriff, Ultimate Team players will receive a Shapeshifters Team 3 and possibly even a Team 4. This is certainly not what FIFA players have come to expect from EA as Ultimate Team promos usually receive a maximum of two teams.
Sheriff also claims that Shapesfhiters Team 3 will be unique in that it will focus on FUT Hero players boasting position changes. The leaker mentioned that a Shapeshifters FUT Hero Solskjær is expected to make its way to the game via SBC.
Here’s a list of leaked FUT Hero players that could make their way to Ultimate Team when Team 3 releases on July 1:
- David Ginola – LM → ST

Apex Legends Ranked: How does rank reset work?
For those wondering how Apex Legends rank reset works in ranked splits, we’ve got all the details covered for you.
Apex Legends has a great ranked system that is split over two periods, for those unsure as to how your rank is reset over these periods, here’s how it works.
Apex Legends has a great rank system that is both easy to understand and extremely addictive. For those who want a more competitive experience and a way to gauge their own skill, Ranked Leagues is the place to be.
With Season 13 bringing major changes to Ranked Leagues, with the 13.1 patch making additional tweaks, players both old and new might want a quick reminder of how the rank reset works after the split.
Apex Legends Season 13’s first ranked split was played on Storm Point, with the second bringing World’s Edge back to the ranked mode after the split occurred on June 28.
For more information on Apex Legends Ranked Leagues, check out our article on the most popular Legends to get a head start. Now, Let’s get into exactly how Apex Legends rank reset works.
How does rank reset work in Apex Legends?
Since Apex Legends Season 3, Respawn has split the ranked season into two halves, each spanning one and half months.
At the end of the first split, players will experience a “soft reset” for the second half of the ranked season, which sees their rank reduced by 4 divisions.
That means if you ended the first split in Gold II, you will see an Apex Legends rank reset to Silver II when the second ranked split begins.
Apex Predators, which is the players in the top rank, will be reset to Diamond IV, so be wary at the start of the split if you make your way to Diamond fast, you’ll be up against some tough competition.
That’s all on how rank reset works in Apex Legends Ranked Leagues. For more, check out what the devs said about potential Gold Knockdown Shield changes.
