GTA Online October Prime Gaming Rewards discounts

Free Sanctus

When we say that you getting the Sanctus for free is a great opportunity, we mean it.

This deadly-looking lump of metal murder on wheels typically retails for $1,995,000, but to celebrate the Halloween season, Rockstar is giving them away to players for free!

Here is the official description of the Sanctus in GTA Online:

OK, so it’s not technically road legal. Or even vaguely safe. And with those forks you better get good at three point turns. But if you can get past all that you can cruise straight into your Goth biker death cult of choice.

70% off Besra

A basic military jet that will get you from A-to-B a lot quicker than other modes of transport in Los Santos.

It’s not flashy and doesn’t have any weapons, but the Besra’s resourcefulness and accessibility make it a more affordable choice than other aircraft in the game. Better still, it was already reasonably priced at $1,150,000, and now it can be yours for just $345,000!

Here is the official description of the Besra in GTA Online:

High performance jet trainer aircraft. You’ll be looping the loop, buzzing the tower, and dropping the big one before you can say “American Imperialism.” Pack a parachute and clean underwear.

70% off Z-Type

The other car in the GTA Online October 2021 Prime Gaming rewards program is the Z-Type.

Load up the Tommy Guns and go pull a hit on someone, that’s the vibe that the Z-Type gives off, and it’s a cool one. The Z-Type looks like it’s been airlifted straight out of a gangster film and would normally order the buyer to cough up $950,000. Thankfully, Rockstar has intervened and made it $285,000 as part of Prime Gaming Rewards.

Here’s the official description of the Z-Type:

Weather the new Great Depression with a car from the last Great Depression. When this rolled off the production line in 1937, minorities and women knew their place. It was the world’s fastest automobile. Now it’s the world’s most expensive second-hand automobile. One of only 10 ever made, the Z-Type is a car you can really enjoy sitting in, surrounded by armed guards, too terrified to actually drive it anywhere.

It’s definitely worth making sure your Rockstar Social Club and Prime Gaming accounts are linked, with more offers and discounts dropping every month.

Apex Legends Season 11 Raiders Collection Event: Release date, skins, & Heirloom

The Apex Legends Raiders Collection Event has finally been revealed for Season 11. Here’s all the details you need to know.

Published

on

A brand new Apex Legends Collection Event is on its way in Season 11, bringing a space-pirate theme with the name “Raiders.” Here’s all the information you need including the release date, skins, and Heirloom.

Apex Legends has brought loads of new content for players through Season 11, as well as shifting the Legend meta with various buffs and nerfs.

Respawn is great at keeping the game fresh and has done an excellent job at staying on top of fixes and updates. One thing Apex Legends is known for is its extravagant Collection Event updates that come every season.

One will be arriving in Season 11 and we have the details.

When is the Apex Legends Raiders Collection Event?

The Apex Legends Raiders Collection Event will officially release December 7 at around 10 AM PST / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST.

The event will subsequently end on December 21.

The event will also double up as this year’s Holo-day Bash event, bringing back the Winter Express LTM.

Raiders Collection Event content

Skins

With the release of the Apex Legends Raiders Collection Event trailer, we finally got a glimpse at the skins. As with every Collection Event, there will be a total of 24 items to unlock. Obtain them all and the Heirloom is yours.

The theme will be around Pirates, which is very fitting for Storm Point’s tropical setting. The skins featured in the collection are Pirate-themed, decorated with skull and bones, eye patches, and also bandanas.

Further, as well as the collection, there will also be various other skins available in the store during the event.

Bloodhound, Wattson, & Wraith skins

Revenant, Pathfinder, & Loba skins

Valkyrie skin

Crypto skin

Ash & Mirage skins

Winter Express LTM

As many will know, the Holo-day Bash event this year has been implemented into the Raider’s Collection Event. This means that from December 7 to December 21, players will be able to drop into the Winter Express LTM.

Players will be able to choose their loadout this year and drop down towards the World’s Edge train to battle it out in a round-based mode that sees the last team standing on the train win.

The train will move to various POIs as the rounds go on, so make sure you’re sticking with the team and being aware of your surroundings as you battle for control of the train.

Wattson Heirloom

The Apex Legends Raiders Collection Event will also bring a new Heirloom for players to unlock through obtaining all 24 items in the collection.

This season’s Heirloom is for Wattson. The Wattson Heirloom was previously leaked, and it seems the design was spot on.

The Heirloom looks like some sort of electric prodding device that features emotes with a Nessie plushie. The Heirloom also seems to have a digital screen with a Nessie Tamagotchi that Wattson can interact with and keep happy.

This Nessie Tamagotchi will likely react to Wattson’s actions like when she gets a kill with it or even if she just pulls it out.

Challenges & rewards

The Raiders Collection Event also brings a brand new reward tracker for players to get through. Players will need to gain Event Points by completing challenges.

The rewards include Pirate-themed Charms, a Crypto skin, an Alternator skin, and a Hemlock skin.

That’s all the current information we have on the Apex Legends Season 11 Raiders Collection Event. As more information is released, we will update this piece so stay tuned.

Best Battlefield 2042 keybinds & settings for mouse & keyboard

Here are the best mouse and keyboard settings, including keybinds, you can use in Battlefield 2042 – no matter your playstyle.

Published

on

Battlefield 2042 is finally in players’ hands and it offers a ton of keyboard and mouse customization for every aspect of the game. To hone your skills and make everything as easy as possible, here are the best keybinds and mouse settings.

Players have had plenty of time to get to grips with Battlefield 2042, which was released on November 19 across PCs and consoles. As well as using the best weapons and knowing the layout of all the maps, dialing in your aim and movement is extremely important to winning Battlefield matches.

Unfortunately, some have been experiencing an odd issue since Update #3 which causes the mouse to freeze. Luckily, there are a few easy ways you can fix the problem, one of which is to reset your settings.

For those who had to go through this process, we have all the best mouse and keyboard settings, including keybindings, so you won’t have to scramble trying to figure out what you previously had. Plus, you may find some settings that will vastly improve your game.

Best Battlefield 2042 mouse & keyboard settings

Global mouse and keyboard settings

  • Invert Vertical Look for Soldiers: Off
  • Mouse raw input: On

On Foot mouse and keyboard settings

Aim

  • Solider mouse aim sensitivity: We recommend anywhere from 15-20
  • Invert Vertical Look for Soldiers: Off
  • Field of View: 60-80
  • ADS Field of View: Off

Movement

  • Soldier Sprint: Toggle
  • Double tap forward to sprint: Off
  • Sprint keybind (Mouse & Keyboard): Left Shift
  • Sprint to vault over: Off
  • Always use traversal Sprint: Off

Zoom

  • Soldier weapon zoom: We recommend Hold
  • Zoom keybind (Mouse and Keyboard): Right mouse button
  • Steady Scope: On
  • Steady scope keybind (Mouse & Keyboard): Left Shift
  • Soldier zoom aim sensitivity: Players prefer setting this slightly lower than the regular sensitivity

Other

‘Quick throw Grenades’ is a hugely beneficial setting to have enabled, as you’ll immediately throw the Grenade upon pressing and releasing the button. With it disabled, you’ll first pull out the grenade, and then need to press again to throw it.

  • Parachute auto deploy: Off
  • Air spawn parachute auto deploy: On
  • Quick throw Grenades: On
  • Reload Hints: On

Advanced

Setting the Aim Ratio settings to 100 will match your Vertical and Horizontal aim rates, so they both have the same sensitivity. This can feel far too fast, so we recommend starting somewhere near 50 and finding what’s most comfortable for you.

  • Vertical Mouse Aim Ratio: 40
  • Vertical Mouse Zoom Aim Ratio: 40
  • Uniform soldier aiming: On

  • Plane Chase Camera Roll: On

Advanced

  • Vehicle mouse aim sensitivity: 60
  • Vehicle Zoom Aim Ratio: 60
  • Uniform vehicle aiming: On

Battlefield 2042 players roast “goofy” Santa Claus Holiday skin

Battlefield 2042 players aren’t happy with the new Santa Claus holiday-themed skin and are roasting it online.

Published

on

DICE added decided to bring the holiday spirit to Battlefield 2042 by adding a Santa Claus skin to the game, but unimpressed players have been relentlessly roasting it.

Battlefield 2042 has a variety of new content for fans to enjoy, like Portal which lets you create your own game modes, as well as some powerful new weapons like the SVK Marksman Rifle.

The developers have also decided to get players into the holiday spirit by adding a Santa Claus skin. However, Battlefield fans aren’t impressed with this cosmetic and are openly roasting it online.

Reddit user SoyUnGregorio shared an image of the new Santa Claus skin in the Battlefield 2042 subreddit, and they were not impressed. “DICE, what are you doing with the game,” they asked.

The skin is called Father Winter, and players can unlock it by completing missions in Week 3 of the pre-season. Many of the commenters shared the Redditor’s opinion and began roasting the cosmetic.

“I knew clown show skins like these were coming,” one player sarcastically replied. “But DICE wasted no time and added them in the very first update. Incredible.” Many users jokingly stated that they can’t believe this is real.

“When people talked about EA/DICE introducing Santa Claus and clown skins to Battlefield I thought we were all just joking around,” commented another player.

A few users did enjoy this new skin. “Yeah I think it’s definitely good they did it,” wrote ozner55. “The game overall just needs a little more content. Even if it’s a goofy Christmas thing, I’m totally fine with that. Having new stuff to unlock is simply positive.”

The Battlefield 2042 launch has been troublesome, and this new cosmetic hasn’t done much to get the community in a better mood when playing the game. There have also been many other problems.

Players have complained about the map design and Shroud explained why weapon bloom is ruining the game. We’ve also seen a bug that makes smoke grenades useless and error messages plaguing fans.
