Rockstar continues to stock up GTA Online with new content. This week the Manchez Scout has finally been added along with a range of discounts for the Kosatka submarine. Also, the Toreador has been added as this week’s Podium Vehicle.
Despite being released 8 years ago, GTA 5, in one form or another, still continues to get more items and opportunities added to it. This week’s update is no exception.
Thanks to our usual GTA Online leaker TezFunz2, we have information on new vehicles and discounts in this week’s update & patch notes.
GTA Online January 14 patch notes
Manchez Scout added to GTA Online
Originally announced during the Cayo Perico expansion, the Manchez Scout has now been added to the game.
Described as a military off-road motorcycle, the Manchez Scout is a stylish and nimble beast. If you want to take a ride on it, it’ll set you back $225,000.
GTA Online Diamond Casino Lucky Wheel Reward
You’re going to want to make sure you don’t miss out on the Diamond Casino Lucky Wheel as this week’s prize is simply fabulous. Rockstar has generously put the Toreador up for grabs.
The Toreador is worth a staggering $3,660,000 and here’s the official description of the vehicle:
“No land? No problem. With Pegassi’s submersible, booster-fitted sports car, taking your life and all its problems out to sea has never been faster. Nothing is as therapeutic for the soul as the endless blue of the Pacific Ocean and firing off a few torpedoes at passersby.“
2x GTA$ & RP GTA Online Rewards & Races
There is an opportunity for 2x GTA$ & RP on Survivals this week. As usual, we have information on the new races and time trials too.
- Premium Race: Art to Art
- Time Trial: Route 68
- RC Time Trial: Cemetery
There are the usual login rewards to claim as players can scoop the following:
- Shark Camo livery for Toreador
- Pegassi Aged Tee
Major GTA Online Discounts
One of the biggest additions to GTA Online recently has been the Kosatka submarine that came as part of the Cayo Perico update. The costly submarine is fun but requires a lot of cash to upgrade.
Here are some new discounts for it to ease that burden:
- Sonar Station ($900,000)
- Guided Missiles ($1,425,000)
- Moon Pool Vehicles (S>$1,361,250 – A>$1,158,750)
- Weapon Workshop ($262,500)
40% Off Vehicles
- Buzzard ($1,050,000)
- Reaper ($957,000)
- Sea Sparrow ($1,089,000)
- Coquette D10 ($1,057,000)
25% Off Vehicles
- Alkonost ($3,262,500)
- Stealth Annihilator ($2,902,500)
That should just about cover everything in this bumper update to begin the new year. We are surely counting down the weeks until we get GTA 6 details so keep enjoying GTA Online in the meantime.

Where to find the black box in Fortnite’s Week 9 challenge
A Fortnite Season 5 weekly challenges requires you to find a black box at the crashed plane site. Here’s how you can get this done.
One of Fortnite’s Season 5 Week 9 challenges requires you to find a black box at the crashed plane site. We’ve made it easier to find with the help of a useful map.
Fortnite Season 5 is set to end on March 16, and we’re now in week 9 of the update. This means that there are brand new weekly challenges for you to complete, and you have the opportunity to progress through the Battle Pass.
Week 9’s challenges are simple compared to previous weeks since you’ll mostly do tasks like dealing damage in water and shaking down IO Guards. One of these Epic Quests requires you to find a crashed plane’s black box.
Where to find the black box in Fortnite Season 5
To find the black box, you’ll have to make your way towards the location of the crashed plane, which is at the northwesternmost point of the map. It’s close to the Coral Castle POI on Fortnite Island.
It’s likely that you’ve already been to this area before since it’s usually rich in loot for you to collect. That leads to it also being filled with a high amount of player traffic, so you should be ready for a battle when you head over there.
We’ve made things a bit easier for you by marking the exact location on the map below.
The plane has been split into three parts, and you can find the black box near the middle section. Head over to the marked spot on the map, and you’ll be able to interact with it. That will result in you receiving 20,000 XP in the challenge.
At the moment, we don’t know for sure if this crashed plane will have some sort of major relevance to future events in the battle royale, but it wouldn’t be too surprising if it did. Stealthy Stronghold ended up being tied to the Predator crossover.
That wraps up this relatively simple challenge. You can earn some serious XP, and unlock brand new cosmetics by completing Epic and Legendary quests, so be sure to check out our Fortnite Season 5 Week 9 challenges guide.

Where to find Hidden Bunkers for Fortnite Week 9 challenge
Fortnite Season 5 Week 9’s challenge has players visit a hidden bunker, so here’s where to find them in Chapter 2.
Fortnite Season 5’s Week 9 Quests ask you to find a hidden bunker, so here are the locations for all three on the Fortnite map.
Bunkers have been a source of intrigue for Fortnite players since Chapter 1 when a mysterious bunker door arrived in Weeping Woods. No matter how the map changed, the bunker remained.
When the original map was destroyed and Fortnite moved onto a new island, these bunkers returned. Still, nobody knows what these bunkers are for, but with us only being a few weeks away from Season 6, perhaps we’ll know the answer then.
The Season 5 Week 9 challenges, which begin on January 28, ask players to visit one of these bunkers for 20,000 XP, so here are their locations.
Fortnite Hidden Bunker locations
There are three bunkers spread out across the Fortnite Chapter 2 map, and all of them difficult to find if you don’t know where to go. One is hidden underwater, one under a shack, and the last behind a bush at the very edge of the map.
To make things easy for you, we’ve put together a map showing where these bunkers are.
The first bunker is in the bay off the coast directly to the south of Holly Hedges. Swim out to sea as if you’re going off the map, and dive under the water and you’ll find the hidden bunker.
The second bunker is found at the very north of the map on the island to the north-west of Craggy Cliffs. It will be found under a shack on the east side of the island. Simply break open the wall underneath the shack and you’ll have found the bunker.
The third bunker is on the cliffs to the south-east of Retail Row. Go along the cliffs to the east of Retail Row and you’ll stumble upon a large bush in-between two trees. Destroy the bush and you’ll find the bunker underneath.
The leaked Quests ask you to ‘”Find a hidden bunker???” so the first bunker may be the only one that will work for this challenge, as it pings with ‘???’ when you first visit it. So we recommend visiting this bunker first, but any of the three will likely work.

EA announce new studio ‘Full Circle’ working on the next EA Skate game
EA have announced that they have created a new studio, Full Circle, to work on the highly-anticipated new EA Skate game.
Electronic Arts have announced the creation of a new studio, Full Circle, which will work on the upcoming EA Skate video game.
On January 17, 2021, EA announced the creation of an all-new development team based in Vancouver. The new studio, Full Circle, will be responsible for developing the much-anticipated new installment in the popular EA Skate franchise.
The new development team will be led by former Head of Xbox Live at Microsoft, Daniel McCulloch. “The fans wished Skate back into existence and we want them involved in the process from development to game launch and beyond. We want them to feel like they are a part of Full Circle,” McCulloch, the GM of Full Circle, said in a press release.
Full Circle is looking for community input on the next title in the beloved franchise. They’re also hiring developers who are passionate about the game they’re creating. “We’re all about having fun and making great games that people want to play with their friends. And, we’re looking for more developers to help us build compelling worlds for players to explore,” said McCulloch.
It’s been more than ten years since the last release of the Skate franchise. The original game helped to revolutionize skateboarding video games, transitioning the genre from the arcade frenzy of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater to a more realistic simulation; similar to other sports games like Madden and FIFA.
Skater XL, released in 2020, is the only modern competition in the space. It will be interesting to see what new ideas EA and Full Circle bring to the table.
Fans have been waiting for a Skate 4 for over a decade. The announcement of Full Circle proves that EA is finally giving the community what they want.
It will likely be a long time before we hear any more news about the upcoming EA Skate game, with Full Circle still in the hiring process. Still, it’s good to know that the game will soon be in development.
When we do hear more, you’ll be the first to know. This game is sure to be one of the most anticipated titles ever to hit the sports video game genre.
