GTA 5 weed stash locations: How to complete Grass Roots mission

Here’s how to find the weed stash locations in GTA 5 and complete the Grass Roots – Pick up and Grass Roots – The Drag missions with ease.

The three protagonists in GTA 5 are polarizing characters, making it interesting how they deal with the same situations differently. The Grass Roots side quest in which Franklin, Trevor, and Michael interact with a marijuana legalization advocate is truly hilarious except for the part where you need to find the weed stashes.

Searching in the massive areas marked on the map can be confusing, so here are the weed stash locations in GTA 5 to help you complete the Grass Roots quest as Franklin.

Where to find every weed stash in GTA 5

Grass Roots – The Pick Up

The first weed stash in GTA 5 is located in the Marietta Heights region of East Los Santos. Enter the green area highlighted on the map and reach the location marked in the image below:

Here, you’ll find a pick-up truck that contains the stash and Barry will ask Franklin to drop it off near the apartment. To get the Gold medal for this mission, leave the lumberyard from the back as it helps you avoid a wanted level and use the freeway to complete the delivery within 2 minutes 45 seconds.

Grass Roots – The Drag

The second weed stash in GTA 5 is located in the scrapyard in La Puerta. Enter the green area highlighted on the map and reach the location marked in the image below:

Here, you’ll find an old car that contains the stash but it won’t start, so you’ll need to use the tow truck right beside the scrapyard’s entrance. Directly entering the tow truck can help you clear the mission in under 1 minute 50 seconds, which grants the Gold Medal.

To avoid getting a wanted level, pick a path with the least turns and avoid using brakes or else the towed vehicle might end up hitting and damaging properties.
