GTA 6 reveal & trailer coming soon according to trusted industry insider
Rockstar GamesAccording to Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier, a GTA 6 announcement is close at hand, with a full trailer following in December. Another well-known Grand Theft Auto insider also chimed in to back up the claims.
There’s no doubt that GTA 6 is the most highly anticipated game in development, with fans eagerly waiting for a reveal. It’s been over a decade since GTA 5, the last title from Rockstar Games’ beloved open-world series, was launched. Since then, the devs have been cashing in on the success of GTA Online, which is still receiving constant updates.
However, the wait for GTA 6 may soon be over, as a recent report suggests that Rockstar may make the announcement “as early as this week.” The claim comes from none other than Jason Schreier of Bloomberg, one of the most trustworthy journalists in the video game industry.
He’s said a lot about GTA 6, including how the game will feature a Bonnie and Clyde protagonist duo, including a Latina woman. This seems to have already been proven by the 2022 gameplay leaks.
The information was revealed to Schreier by “people familiar with (Rockstar Games’) plans.” He also added that “the company plans to then publish a trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI next month to celebrate Rockstar’s 25th anniversary.” This means that the hype for the next installment in the GTA series could skyrocket in December.
After Jason Schreier shared his Bloomberg report on X (formerly Twitter), ‘Tez2,’ another reputed source for all things GTA, came in to support the claims. “Not like you need me, but I can corroborate as well from what I’ve heard from a couple of friends,” he wrote, adding, “Rocktober is over, but the hype starts now.”
Tez2 has also proven to be a reliable source, with many of his claims about the GTA and Red Dead Redemption games coming true. In a recent post on GTAForums, he had also predicted a GTA 6 reveal coming in December, along with a 2025 release date. Earlier, he had shared some disappointing news about the game’s development on PC.
