Rockstar Games have finally lifted the lid and provided fans with a look at GTA 6. Besides a brief trailer, the devs also released information regarding the release platforms and availability on PC. So, here’s what we know about GTA 6’s PC release so far.

GTA 6 is easily among the most anticipated games in recent memory. While rumors surrounding the game have persisted for years, fans received a pretty expansive look at the game through a major leak in 2022. Rockstar have now provided an official look at Grand Theft Auto 6 through a small trailer showing off the main protagonists and the Vice City setting.

Bits of information regarding the game, including its availability on certain platforms have also been revealed. So, if you’re a PC player, here’s what we know about GTA 6’s PC release so far.

GTA 6 PC release

Going by the official press release, it looks like GTA 6 will not be available on PC at launch. The press release in question stated that GTA 6 is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series XIS, and had no mention of PC anywhere.

The omission isn’t exactly surprising, as both GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 were released on consoles first before being ported to PC months, sometimes years later. The first Red Dead Redemption even skipped PC entirely.

The press release seems to suggest that Rockstar could follow a similar pattern for GTA 6 on PC. If this is the case, players could have to wait for more than a year to play it on their rigs.

That was everything we know so far about GTA 6 on PC. We’ll be sure to update this article once more information arrives.
