Leaked GTA Online content reveals possible first look at GTA 6’s Vice City
Rockstar GamesA leaked GTA Online cosmetic item may have given players a first look at the Vice City map that is rumored to be the setting of Rockstar’s highly-anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6.
GTA 6 has generated a ton of hype ever since it was officially confirmed to be in development, and players have been eagerly waiting for its official reveal after the gameplay leak earlier in 2022.
Official details about the highly-anticipated sixth entry in the Grand Theft Auto series have been scarce. However, we may have gotten a first look at its map through an unreleased GTA Online item.
A photo of an unreleased GTA Online shirt was shared on Twitter by user ‘ClassiqueGTA’ who claims that this particular clothing item is called “Downtown Cab Co. Revere Collar.” It features an image of a modified taxi with an interesting background.
Players feel that the city skyline behind the taxi doesn’t resemble Los Santos from GTA 5, and this led to speculation that Rockstar Games may have revealed the setting of GTA 6 through this shirt.
The trees in the background resemble those in Vice City which has long been speculated to be the main setting of the upcoming title. One player replied: “Looks a lot like Vice City. Maybe an Easter Egg hint for GTA 6.”
However, since that location doesn’t have mountains, the presence of one in the image has players wondering if this might just be Los Santos or another major city that will be present in GTA 6.
One user in the replies stated: “That mountain, I feel throws off the idea that it’s Vice City. I feel it’s just a generic city maybe or maybe early concept art of Los Santos.” Another player speculated that the hill could be Mount Chiliad in Los Santos.
Other replies suggested that this location could be Hawaii. This image has caused mass speculation among the GTA community, and it remains to be seen if this is indeed a GTA 6 Easter Egg. We’ll have to wait for Rockstar to officially reveal the map to know for sure.
