Trusted GTA 6 insider claims official reveal is coming “soon”
Rockstar GamesFans are desperately waiting for any slither of GTA 6 news, as Rockstar remain tight-lipped about the upcoming sequel. However, an insider has claimed that the GTA 6 reveal might not be too far away.
Following the incredible success of GTA 5 and GTA Online, it’s no surprise that Grand Theft Auto 6 is one of the most-anticipated games currently in development. Although Rockstar themselves have only confirmed that work on the sequel is underway, fans are eager for even a small piece of news.
Major gameplay leaks in 2022 did reveal a host of GTA 6 information, including the return of Vice City and two of the playable characters. Despite all of these details becoming public early, the devs have confirmed that development is continuing as planned.
Now, according to a well-known GTA insider, it seems that Rockstar are finally gearing up to officially reveal GTA 6. In a post on the GTA Forums, leaker Tez2 claimed that the first look at Grand Theft Auto 6 could happen before the end of 2023.
“Everything seems to line up for a high likelihood of Rockstar announcing VI soon,” he said. “Probably in the coming months.”
Tez2 went on to say that if GTA 6 does get revealed in the next few months, then fans can expect to see plenty of teasers in GTA Online, whether it be in 2023 or 2024.
“If that happens, we might see a new collectible or a new hunt relating to VI within the December update. Just like the Treasure Hunt with the Doomsday Heist update,” the leaker continued. “Or it’s probably a bit early and we could see that with the Summer update instead.”
Rockstar are known for teasing upcoming projects in their games, and a handful of suspected GTA 6 references have already arrived in GTA Online.
Tez2 finished his post by telling fans to expect a “new hunt or a collectible” in GTA Online to start the GTA teasers, as this “would make the most sense.” Of course, Rockstar are yet to confirm when the reveal will take place, and this is all just speculation for now, so take it with a pinch of salt.
