Does Atomic Heart have multiplayer or co-op?
Atomic Heart will throw players into an alternate-reality Soviet Union filled with robots, and if you’re wondering if this game comes with multiplayer or co-op then we’ve got the answer.
There are plenty of fun video game titles arriving in 2023, and one that’s beginning to gather a ton of hype is Atomic Heart, an action RPG that takes you to an alternate version of the Soviet Union.
This game’s open world is filled with killer robots that have gone haywire, and you’ll have to complete a variety of story missions. However, will you be able to play Atomic Heart with your friends?
Is there multiplayer or co-op in Atomic Heart?
No, Atomic Heart does not feature multiplayer or co-op features, so you won’t be able to check it out with your friends. The current plan is for Mundfish’s FPS title is to remain single-player only.
In an interview with Wccftech, Mundfish founder and Game Director Robert Bagratuni confirmed that a multiplayer mode was initially considered during Atomic Heart’s production but was ultimately cut from the game.
Robert Bagratuni explained: “During the development process, we made the tough choice to abandon some ideas, even very big ones, like multiplayer. It was painful to have to make those kinds of choices, but it was the right decision.”
He then made it clear that their goal was to create “something new and innovative.” So, players should not expect to see a multiplayer or co-op mode to be added to Atomic Heart anytime in the near future.
While this may come as a disappointment to players, there will still be plenty of fun content to enjoy when hopping into the world of Atomic Heart.
