With all the recent hype surrounding Halo’s reintroduction onto the FPS scene, the developers have revealed the way in which the Battle Pass will work, which is pretty unique.

Halo Infinite is set to be coming at the end of this year, with players of the original excited to see the franchise back in business.

The game has been a long time coming, and for those eager to get their hands on it, there is a Flight Test players can sign up for. For those willing to wait, you may want to know more about how the Battle Pass feature will work, so let’s get into it.

For the first time, following the footsteps of Fortnite, Call of Duty, and various other battle royale titles, Halo Infinite will feature a Battle Pass system for players to unlock new cosmetic items to use in-game.

We received more information on how this will work in the multiplayer reveal, which provided details on all the online content and showed off some exciting new gameplay.

In the video, the developers revealed how the Battle Pass would work, stating that it will be a one-time purchase, so once you have it, you will not need to purchase it again every season like in other games.

This is pretty unique and will definitely keep players satisfied, especially as the multiplayer is free-to-play.

Further, another unique feature is that players will be able to access items from all the season’s battle passes, meaning if a player has missed a season, they will be able to go back, activate it, and unlock the items within it.

This is great for Halo players and may impact the Battle Pass systems on other games if it is received well. Although we don’t have an official price for the Battle Pass, we can assume it will be a reasonable price considering it is a one-time purchase.

The official release date has not yet been revealed, but we know that it will be coming in 2021 unless it’s delayed. For more on Halo Infinite, stay tuned via Charlie INTEL and check out our recent post on how to unlock the Yoroi Samurai armor in Halo: Infinite.
