Halo Infinite fans have been waiting for a new update for the game for weeks and finally, 343 Industries have confirmed a new patch for Thursday, February 3, with a second fix for Big Team Battle.

While Halo Infinite was released to widespread acclaim, 343 Industries still found themselves under fire after lackluster events and slow responses to issues.

Since then, Halo Infinite devs have pushed back the Season 2 update in an attempt to work on the ongoing issues with the game, and that process continues with the February 3 update.

343 have already tried and failed to fix issues with Big Team Battle, but this patch should finally alleviate the problems plaguing the mode. Here’s everything we know about Halo Infinite’s February 3 update.

Big Team Battle finally fixed

After weeks of frustration, Halo Infinite’s February 3 update should finally fix the issues that have left fans frustrated with Big Team Battle. Players trying to jump into the mode were left in endless queues, just hoping they would end up in a match at some point. For many, that moment never came.

While 343 tried to fix these problems with a January 19 hotfix, they weren’t able to stamp out the problem entirely. Two weeks later, it seems we finally have a fix.

According to Senior Community Manager John Junyszek, the “update for Big Team Battle is ready for launch,” scheduled to drop at 10AM PT on February 3.
