Halo Infinite leak claims new Warzone-like mode with battle royale features coming soon

Some new Halo Infinite leaks are hinting at the arrival of a Warzone-inspired game mode with battle royale elements.

A new Halo Infinite leak seems to suggest that the developers are working on a brand-new game mode inspired by Halo 5’s Warzone mode with battle royale characteristics.

Halo Infinite players have their fair share of issues with aspects of the game, such as the Battle Pass progression and Fracture: Tenrai event. Another common criticism is that it received very little new content throughout Season 1.

However, a new leak has emerged which seems to suggest that 343 Industries might be working on a follow-up to Halo 5’s Warzone Mode that may arrive in Halo Infinite with some battle royale features.

This Halo Infinite leak came from a leaked settings page tweeted by ‘HaloHubGG’, showcasing a variety of features that you’d normally find in major battle royale titles like Fortnite and Apex Legends.

The leaked image includes drop pods that allow players to respawn as well as a moving ‘containment zone.’ According to the leak, this new game mode will be “a successor to Halo 5’s Warzone” that will feature “Battle Royale-like characteristics.”

This 12v12 game mode had traits of Big Team Battle and would task players with completing different objectives across large open maps. While fans were disappointed to hear Halo Infinite would launch without battle royale, it seems that it may finally be on its way.

While the image shows teams having ‘lifepools’ across the board, this new game mode still appears to be team-based. While this sounds exciting, HaloHubGG added that they don’t expect this mode to release anytime soon.

It’s worth keeping in mind that these are currently just leaks, and none of this information has been verified by 343 Industries, so be sure to take it with a grain of salt until we receive an official announcement.

The devs have previously said “the only BR we’re interested in is Battle Rifle,” and other reports claim that they are currently working on an Invasion-style mode, so it might be a while since we see battle royale arrive in Halo Infinite.

Apex Legends pro claims Season 13 ranked changes will make you a better player

An Apex Legends pro has come out in support of the Season 13 ranked changes, claiming it will make players better.

After receiving backlash, Apex Legends pro Mac ‘Albralelie’ Beckwith has shared his thoughts on the new Season 13 ranked system, claiming it will improve players.

Apex Legends Season 13 brought some drastic changes to the ranked system, changing the way players gain points and grind through the ranks.

Previously, the system had been more focused on kills, but the new system places emphasis on placement. This has made it harder for players to earn points and level up, as the lobbies have become much more competitive in the final zones.

In Apex Legends Season 13’s Ranked Leagues, players are encouraged to stay alive and play for the win, rather than getting a load of kills. This had led to more squads and players being alive in final circles, making it harder to gain points.

While the community hasn’t been particularly fond of these changes, seasoned Apex Legends pro Albralelie gave his opinions on this new system, supporting the dev’s changes while making some controversial comments.

In a recent stream, the Apex Legends pro shared his feelings towards the changes, believing the new ranked changes are healthy for the game, which is contrary to the community’s reaction.

Ultimately, the pro feels as if the new changes are going to make players better at the game. Albralelie says that the new system “caters to you being able to actually improve as you climb…don’t get defeated.”

The streamer and Apex pro also made some interesting comments on solo players while answering a question about whether solo players should be able to reach the higher ranks.

The pro makes a controversial statement: “should a solo player be able to reach Masters in a team-based competitive BR? Just because it happened before doesn’t mean it was supposed to happen, right?”

It’s interesting to hear a professional Apex Legends player’s take on the new ranked system, especially as casual players have been pretty upset with the changes. All in all, the pro feels it will make players better, and even if players are now in lower ranks than they’re used to, they should use it as motivation to improve.

Clever Apex Legends trick reverts Kraber nerfs

With this clever trick, Apex Legends’ Kraber Sniper Rifle becomes a one-shot machine yet again, even after nerfs.

Apex Legends players have found a way to make the Kraber Sniper Rifle one-shot kill yet again after the Season 13 nerfs.

Apex Legends Season 13 brought some pretty huge changes to the game, especially when it comes to the Legends and weapon meta.

As well as some major Valkyrie nerfs and the introduction of Newcastle, Season 13 also nerfed the only one-shot kill weapon in the game, the Kraber.

This combined with the Helmet buffs caused a change in the weapon’s one-shot headshot potential, but this new trick reverts the changes.

Prior to the nerfs, the Kraber would one-shot any Legend as long as it was a headshot. This made the weapon extremely powerful and useful in end-game situations, as just one shot could change the tide of a fight.

Now, in Season 13, as long as players have the correct armor requirements, the Kraber is no longer a guaranteed one-shot kill.

Having said that, thanks to Apex Legends content creator RossTheeSquirrel, there is indeed a way for players to one-shot any Legend with the Kraber even after the Season 13 patch.

By shooting through Rampart’s Tactical ability, Amped Cover, players actually gain an increase in damage as the shielded wall “amps outgoing shots.”

This increases the Kraber’s headshot damage to revert the Season 13 nerfs, making it a one-shot headshot against any Legend no matter what armor they are wearing.

While Rampart hasn’t been considered the most popular Legend in Apex according to the pick rates, she received a buff in Season 13 and players seem to be more interested in giving her a try.

Now, she also has this added benefit of being the only Legend that has the capabilities to make the Kraber a one-shot kill again, perhaps those who love the Kraber will give her a chance.
