Halo Infinite’s multiplayer is still technically in beta, but a new leak from a dataminer claims that new game modes are already on their way.

Halo Infinite’s multiplayer has released to massive acclaim, with streamers like Dr Disrespect enjoying the game more than rivals CoD: Vanguard and Battlefield 2042.

While Infinite has only been out for a couple of weeks, players are already excited for what’s to come in the future. That’s why dataminers have been pouring through the game’s files to find clues and leaks.

These leakers have already discovered upcoming weapon variants, and have now found a host of new game modes which will be added to Halo Infinite in the near future.

While some have been hoping for the return of classic modes, it seems 343 Industries are more focused on the future of the game, with new modes coming under supposed Cyber Showdown and Tactical Ops event.

Halo leaker ‘HaloNoticiasMX’ claims that Cyber Showdown will bring new versions of Slayer, King of the Hill, CTF, and One Flag. Tactical Ops receives the same modes, with the additions of Strongholds, Elimination, Attrition, and Oddball.

Halo are fans are delighted to hear that 343 are already working on old content, but have been calling for classic modes like ‘Swat’ to return. The devs do have some work to do with current modes though, as Ranked Oddball is awarding wins to teams who lose the match.

Players are also calling for the return of the pre-game lobby, so they can see other players’ Spartans make customization worthwhile.

In the meantime, players can check out all the secret Easter Eggs hidden inside Halo Infinite, or open Loot Caves to earn powerful weapons.
