Halo Infinite is set to receive the classic Forge mode in Season 3, and some new leaks suggest that the developers might also introduce a custom games browser alongside it.

While the reception for Halo Infinite has been positive, players still want a few changes to the game, including the addition of Forge which allows players to create their own maps and modes.

Details are scarce, but 343 Industries stated that Forge is planned to arrive in Season 3, and some new leaks may have revealed another classic Halo feature that could be added to the game as well.

This leak came from ‘Halo Infinite API Updates’ who shared an image in a now-deleted tweet showing the community tab in the Halo Infinite menu. Players immediately spotted a ‘customs browser’ option present in the picture.

They also tweeted another image with a message that reads: “No custom games found. You can host your own custom game or join a matchmade game.” Halo Infinite API Updates then claimed it’s confirmed that 343 is working on this feature.

The custom games browser allows players to fully customize their game to make it more fun. and this feature was available with Forge map editor in 2007’s Halo 3. So, it’s possible that this could arrive when Forge launches in Halo Infinite.

If this information is accurate, players will soon be able to make their own custom games with changes such as better starting weapons, higher jumps, and faster movement. These will serve as an alternative to matchmade games.

However, since this is just a leak, we recommend taking it with a grain of salt until 343 Industries officially verify this information themselves. It’s entirely possible that Forge could launch without a custom games browser.
