Halo: Infinite release date possibly confirmed in Xbox Twitter leak

The Xbox Brazil Twitter account may have accidentally revealed the official release date for Halo: Infinite.

Halo Infinite Release date revealed

Halo: Infinite is one of the most highly-anticipated games coming out in 2021, and its official release date has seemingly been confirmed by the Xbox Brazil Twitter account.

Halo fans have been eagerly awaiting news on the highly-anticipated Halo: Infinite, which is scheduled to arrive sometime during November 2021. We recently got a close look at the game through some concept art and weapon artwork.

Right after we got a look at some new gameplay footage during E3 2021, the Xbox Brazil Twitter account seemingly confirmed a possible release date for the upcoming title, though it may have been a mistake.

343 Industries confirmed that we’d see Halo: Infinite arrive in late 2021, and a Tweet from Xbox Brazil stated that the exact release date would be November 9.

However, this tweet was deleted shortly afterward by the account, leading many to speculate about what this means. Perhaps it was some secret information that was not meant to be revealed yet.

The most likely explanation is that this was simply a mistake, and they might’ve confused it with Forza Horizon 5 which releases on that exact date. Xbox’s Jeff Rubenstein stated that it was definitely a typo.

Ultimately, it seems highly-unlikely that this is the actual release date for Halo: Infinite. However, the game is still set to come out at some point during November 2021, so we won’t have to wait too long.

While initially set for a December 2020 release, the game’s arrival ended up being pushed back due to real-world events disturbing the development. The devs will take this time to ensure that the game is as polished as possible.

We’ll keep checking for any more Halo: Infinite leaks and reveals that become public. Once we discover something new, we’ll be sure to update you.

How to get a free FIFA 22 Ultimate Team TOTW Upgrade pack

EA have released the first TOTW Upgrade into FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, here’s our easy guide on how to complete it.

FIFA 22 TOTW Upgrade

The first TOTW Upgrade of the year has dropped in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, giving the players the chance to bag a Team of the Week player to build their club. Here’s our quick guide on how to complete this FUT SBC.

Squad Building Challenges are one of the best ways to earn rewards in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team without having to grind Divison Rivals or Squad Battles.

The latest SBC released in FIFA 22 gives fans the chance to earn a Team of the Week player from weeks one to five.

Here’s our simple guide on how to earn a TOTW Player Pack in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.

How to complete TOTW Upgrade in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team

Team of the Week 1 in FIFA 22

EA haven’t put on too many requirements for the TOTW Upgrade SBC, but you will be required to submit an 83-rated squad.

Since it’s possible to pack some seriously high-rated cards from this SBC, such as a 90-rated Mohammed Salah or Karim Benzema, the relatively high conditions may still be worth it.

Here are the requirements you need to meet in order to bag the TOTW player:

  • Min. Team Rating: 83
  • Min. Team Chemistry: 70
  • Number of Players: 11

FIFA 22 TOTW Upgrade solution

Thanks to the relatively forgiving chemistry requirements, there are plenty of ways to you can complete this challenge with little trouble.

That being said, using FUTBIN, we’ve put together the cheapest way you can earn the TOTW player if you don’t already have 83-rated cards kicking around your club.

This squad clocks in at around 12,000 coins if you have to buy every single player:

  • GK: Emiliano Martinez – 84 – Aston Villa
  • RB: Leon Bailey – 82 – Aston Villa
  • CB: Cesar Azpilicueta – 83 – Chelsea
  • CB: Joel Matip – 83 – Liverpool
  • LB: Alex Telles – 82 – Manchester United
  • CDM: Tomas Soucek – 82 – West Ham United
  • CM: – Thomas Lemar – 83 – Ateltico Madrid
  • CM: Idrissa Gueye – 82 – PSG
  • CAM: Joao Felix – 83 – Atletico Madrid
  • ST: Kevin Volland – 83 – Monaco
  • ST: Mauro Icardi – 83 – PSG

It’s worth noting that not all of these players are in the correct positions, so bear that in mind when you dip into the Transfer Market.

This is a repeatable SBC, so feel free to rinse and repeat as many times as you see fit in the hope of bagging one of the best Team of the Week cards.

Fortnite 18.30 update patch notes: Mountain Base POI, new weapons, Cube Queen Secret Skin

Fortnite’s 18.30 update is live, so here are the full patch notes detailing all of the content, including a new POI, and bug fixes.

Fortnite The Convergence POI

Epic Games are keeping the Fortnite updates coming thick and fast during Fornitemares, with the 18.30 update now live. Here are the full patch notes, including the new Mountain Base POI, Cube Queen skin, weapons, and more.

We’ve now entered the third and final week of Fortnitemares, which had brought both the 18.20 and 18.21 updates. These updates made significant changes to the battle royale, such as adding donation boards, more Return Requests, and the new Cube Town POI.

The latest update, v18.30, is now live. It’s brought a new Mountain Base POI, new weapons, and the secret Battle Pass skin.

Here are the full patch notes for Fortnite’s 18.30 update.

Fortnite Season 8 Fortnitemares

Fortnite 18.30 update release date & server downtime

Fortnite’s 18.30 update is live, with the downtime now over so players can start dropping in and experiencing the new content.

New Fortnite Mountain Base POI

Fortnite season 8 mountain base POI

The 18.30 update has introduced a brand-new POI to the game, with the Catty Corner bunker door opening up to form the Mountain Base.

Since Fortnite moved to the Chapter 2 island, players have been wondering what’s behind the huge door next to Catty Corner. These doors have now opened up with 18.30, but Epic warns that you need to prepare “to fend against Doctor Slone and her guards.”

New Fortnite weapons

The 18.30 update has brought two new weapons, the Icy Grappler and Combat Pistol.

The Icy Grappler acts much the same as the regular Grappler but turns your feet icy for much more mobility. It can be purchased from Fabio Sparklemane for 400 Bars.

And the Combat Pistol comes in every rarity, ranging from 23 damage (Common) to 28 damage (Legendary). The in-game description says it “benefits greatly from aiming down sights.”

Combat Shotgun vs Boogie Bomb

Fortnite boogie bomb vs combat shotgun vote

The Donation Boards return again in the 18.30 update, this time pitting Boogie Bombs and the Combat Shotgun against each other.

Boogie Bombs force your opponents to dance, leaving them defenseless for a few seconds. And the Combat Shotgun is a powerful semi-auto shotgun that has great range.

Players need to donate Gold Bars towards one of the weapons, and the first to hit 100% will arrive in Season 8.

Cube Queen Secret Skin comes to Season 8 Battle Pass

Fortnite Season 8 Cube Queen outfit

The Secret Battle Pass Skin, the Cube Queen, will be available from 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM BST, where players can unlock her Outfit and the Long Live the Queen Set.

Stay tuned to Charlie INTEL for all of the Quests that release later on October 26.

Fortnite Cube Town Pyramid

The Convergence has moved to its next phase with the 18.30 update, and leaks have suggested this will soon form a pyramid.

Epic has teased that “with v18.30, the next phase of The Convergence is now built. Head to the Island’s center to see the Cubes’ ominous progress…”

Well-known leaker HYPEX has discovered that “there’s a string in the Cube Queen’s effects that refers to her as the ‘Pyramid Tip.’

The Cube Town Pyramid seems to be confirmed, with data miners discovering a new challenge where players must “Visit The Pyramid.” And the challenge description says “Ooh, purple! Show me purple! I’m getting the sense that they’re not supposed to be doing that.”

HYPEX now believes that “The Cubes are 100% turning into a pyramid.”

Fortnite Power Leveling weekend

Power leveling in Fortnite

From October 29 at 7 PM ET to November 1 at 7 AM ET, Fortnite players will be treated to bonus XP as part of a Power Leveling weekend.

This will allow players to level up even faster by unlocking a “bonus pool of Supercharged XP.”

Fortnite The Batman Who Laughs skin arrives

The Batman Who Laughs in Fortnite Season 8

Fortnite is continuing its collaboration with DC Comics, bringing villain The Batman Who Laughs to the game. The skin will hit the Item Shop at 5 PM PT on October 25, the same day as the 18.30 update.

The Batman Who Laughs bundle comes with The Batman Who Laughs skin, Robin’s Perch Backbling, and Dark Multiverse Set Pickaxe and Glider.

Fortnite 18.30 update major bug fixes

Here are the confirmed major bug fixes for the 18.30 update, which deal with a couple of game-breaking issues.

  • Fixed an issue involving the Sideways Scythe’s “Smash Attack” ability resulting in fall damage if players used it from a high point.
  • Fixed an issue involving the red dot indicator no longer showing on the compass when enemies were firing.

And that’s everything we know about Fortnite’s 18.30 update!
