Halo: Infinite release date possibly confirmed in Xbox Twitter leak
Halo: Infinite is one of the most highly-anticipated games coming out in 2021, and its official release date has seemingly been confirmed by the Xbox Brazil Twitter account.
Halo fans have been eagerly awaiting news on the highly-anticipated Halo: Infinite, which is scheduled to arrive sometime during November 2021. We recently got a close look at the game through some concept art and weapon artwork.
Right after we got a look at some new gameplay footage during E3 2021, the Xbox Brazil Twitter account seemingly confirmed a possible release date for the upcoming title, though it may have been a mistake.
343 Industries confirmed that we’d see Halo: Infinite arrive in late 2021, and a Tweet from Xbox Brazil stated that the exact release date would be November 9.
However, this tweet was deleted shortly afterward by the account, leading many to speculate about what this means. Perhaps it was some secret information that was not meant to be revealed yet.
The most likely explanation is that this was simply a mistake, and they might’ve confused it with Forza Horizon 5 which releases on that exact date. Xbox’s Jeff Rubenstein stated that it was definitely a typo.
Ultimately, it seems highly-unlikely that this is the actual release date for Halo: Infinite. However, the game is still set to come out at some point during November 2021, so we won’t have to wait too long.
While initially set for a December 2020 release, the game’s arrival ended up being pushed back due to real-world events disturbing the development. The devs will take this time to ensure that the game is as polished as possible.
We’ll keep checking for any more Halo: Infinite leaks and reveals that become public. Once we discover something new, we’ll be sure to update you.
