Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s Scorestreak selection was boosted thanks to the launch of Season 4, and it seems like the new Hand Cannon is capable of bringing down Scorestreaks in one shot.

Despite the odd glitch here and there breaking the Napalm Scorestreak or VTOL, Scorestreaks have generally performed quite well in Black Ops Cold War – maybe too well in the case of the Strafe Run.

They add a lot of depth and strategy to each match as you need to know when to use them, be aware of any lingering Air Patrol Scorestreaks, and check your placement. A deadly Hand Cannon is the new addition to the funhouse, and whilst it does adhere to the same rules as other Scorestreaks, it also serves as a portable, semi-automatic missile launcher.

On paper, the Hand Cannon is the devilish monster that you’d expect a Desert Eagle to be. Firing beastly bullets, the Hand Cannon can puncture its way through anything.

It was commended on launch for its insane power as it was capable of scoring collaterals quite easily, thanks to its unreal stopping power.

Since then, an even greater power has been discovered as the Hand Cannon can actually bring down Scorestreaks in a single shot.

TheSilentFoxyn posted their experience with the Scorestreak on Reddit for all to see the hidden capabilities of the weapon.

In the space of just 20 seconds, the player shot down 2 H.A.R.P Scorestreaks, a Spy Plane, and a Counter Spy Plane.

One commenter said, “I’m cool with the Hand Cannon being good, but it should be 5000+ score. It’s better than the War Machine.”

Players should naturally be rewarded with awesome Scorestreaks for racking up serious points, but being able to shoot down 6000 point Scorestreaks with a single Hand Cannon bullet is sure to ruffle some feathers.
