Here’s all you need to know about Hell Let Loose cross-platform compatibility and if the game supports cross-progression.

Featuring a 50v50 battle format that rewards communication and leadership, Hell Let Loose is one of the best realistic shooters based on World War 2.

The game is available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation, but can you play it with your friends on other platforms? Here’s all about Hell Let Loose cross-platform support along with whether you can use cross-progression without risking progress.

Does Hell Let Loose have crossplay?

Hell Let Loose features crossplay between Xbox and PlayStation consoles only. PC players will be kept to their own servers and won’t be able to matchmake with console players.

This is likely due to mouse and keyboard and controller balance as the devs said “We’ll be keeping PC and console separate” in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

How to enable & disable crossplay on Hell Let Loose

Hell Let Loose was released in 2019.

When you boot up Hell Let Loose for the first time, the game will ask you whether you want to enable crossplay. From this screen, you can accept or decline Hell Let Loose cross-platform play.

You can always change your mind later from the menus. Here’s where to look:

  1. Launch Hell Let Loose
  2. From the menu, press Square (PlayStation) or X (Xbox) to open up Preferences
  3. Hover over ‘Crossplay Enabled’ and set it to either ‘Yes’ or ‘No’

We would recommend leaving crossplay on, though. It will improve matchmaking time, and there’s an even playing field across consoles, so you likely don’t need to worry about cheaters or too many mouse and keyboard players dominating.

Does Hell Let Loose have cross-progression?

No, Hell Let Loose doesn’t feature cross-progression. With Hell Let Loose not featuring crossplay between PC and consoles, some players may want to swap over to play with their friends on other platforms, but Hell Let Loose cross-platform play currently isn’t possible.

Devs Black Matter explained that it likely won’t arrive because “the plan is to keep console and PC as entirely separate ecosystems.”
