Loadout drops are beneficial tools in the world of Call of Duty: Warzone. However, a recent clip shows off a hilarious moment where a loadout drop became an enemy of a player.
Warzone brought many innovations to the battle royale genre, including the loadout drop feature, allowing players to use a pre-determined customized weapons class.
These loadout drops will fly into the map at various locations during parts of a match and can also be bought by players whenever they have $10,000 on hand.
However, the delivery method of these loadout drops recently resulted in a hilarious clip of a player waiting for theirs to arrive on Verdansk ’84.
Community member wrighty435 posted a clip to the official Warzone subreddit with the title of “PSA – Planes in 1984 aren’t safe Video” This title hints at the comedic moment that ensues in the clip that has since been upvoted a total of 4,800 times on the Call of Duty: Warzone subreddit.
The player in the clip can be seen taking cover in one of the planes found on the airstrip at the airport point of interest on Verdansk ’84. They throw the loadout drop inside of the plane and wait for it to land on top of the plane where they will be able to access it and grab their customized class through the roof of the plane.
Unfortunately for wrighty435, this particular loadout drop had other plans, as it came crashing down through the roof of the plane and crushed them to what was likely a very unexpected elimination from the match.
This video was met with multiple instances of the same advice from community members that focused on one simple fact. Make sure to not stand right on or near your loadout drop marker, as you will run the risk of being flattened by your loadout drop if you do, even if you are inside of a plane.

This new period of content will be bringing various new weapons for players to unlock and use in their battles. One of these weapons is the MG 82 LMG which is sure to pack a punch and have players looking to unlock it in Warzone and Black Ops Cold War as soon as Season 4 arrives.
With this in mind, here is everything you need to know to unlock the MG 82 LMG in Warzone and Black Ops Cold War.
How to unlock MG 82 in Warzone and Cold War
Community members will find that this new LMG is one of the free weapons players can get from the Season 4 Battle Pass in the same manner as other weapons that have been free unlocks in previous Battle Passes.
Players who would like to unlock this LMG will need to reach Tier 15 of the Season 4 Battle Pass. Once they have reached Tier 15, they will have this new LMG available to level up and use in all of their future battles.
There will also likely be store bundles players can acquire from the in-game store that will contain blueprints for this weapon, which will automatically unlock the MG 82 for players to use in Warzone and Black Ops Cold War.
According to the official description of this LMG, it is a “full-auto light machine gun. Highest fire rate in class with improved aiming speed. Moderate recoil and damage with increased ammo capacity.”
There will undoubtedly be plenty of players unlocking this weapon as soon as they can when Season 4 arrives to see if it will become a leader in the meta or a weapon they will stay away from when building their loadouts.

Best Cold War MP5 loadout for CoD: Warzone Season 3
Warzone’s Modern Warfare and Cold War MP5s are powerful choices in Season 3, so here are their best attachments and perks.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s MP5 is a great close-range choice in CoD: Warzone Season 3, so here’s the best attachment and perks for it.
The MP5 has been a fan-favorite weapon in almost every Call of Duty title. It hasn’t lost any of its power in Cold War and Warzone, being an underrated gem for close-range combat.
With selections such as the MAC-10, PPSH-41, and LC10, SMGs are extremely viable as secondary weapons again. As it’s of the first weapons you unlock, the MP5 is an excellent choice for beginners and veterans alike.
Here are the best attachments and perks to dominate with the MP5 in Warzone Season 3.
Best Cold War MP5 Warzone attachments
- Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
- Laser: SWAT 5mW Laser Sight
- Stock: Radier Stock
- Grip: Field Agent Grip
- Ammunition: STANAG 50 Rnd Drum
This Cold War MP5 is built to dominate at close range. Pair it with a long-range rifle such as the Krig 6, or if you’re especially confident with your aim, a Sniper Rifle. You can quickly switch to it if your primary weapon is out of ammo, or use it in close-quarters situations.
First, we’ve added the Agency Suppressor. This works similarly to the Monolithic Suppressor from Modern Warfare, which increases the weapons range while hiding you from the minimap. As the MP5 is best suited for getting in the enemy’s face, we’ve opted for no barrel and instead added the Raider Stock for extra mobility.
To make the MP5 as accurate as possible, you should add the Field Agent Grip which helps with both horizontal and vertical recoil control. And for some extra accuracy at point-blank, the SWAT 5mW Laser Sight will boost your hip-fire accuracy.
For ammunition, the STANAG 50 Rnd Drum mag is ideal. You can down several enemies without ever having to reload without any significant negatives to ADS speed.
Best perks to use with the MP5 in Warzone Season 3
- Perk 1: E.O.D
- Perk 2: Overkill then Ghost
- Perk 3: Amped
A major part of Warzone is the lethal equipment at your disposal. Before pushing a room, enemies will lob a bombardment of grenades, rockets, and explosives inside. If you have any hope of surviving, you’ll need the E.O.D perk equipped.
The MP5 is best suited as a secondary weapon, so you want to run Overkill to carry two primaries. Make a duplicate loadout with Ghost as well, and you’ll be able to have both your favorite weapons, as well as be hidden from UAVs and Heartbeats.
There’s nothing worse than running out of ammo in a firefight, where you’ll need to quickly swap weapons to have a chance. So for Perk 3, the Amped Perk will allow you to swap weapons insanely fast, which is vital in Warzone.
How to unlock the MP5 in Warzone
To unlock Cold War’s MP5 in Warzone, you simply need to reach Level 4.
You’ll manage to earn it after only a few matches, then once you’ve unlocked it, give it a try in Warzone.
Best MP5 alternatives in Warzone
Use the Cold War MP5 with these attachments and perks, and you’ll find yourself running one of the best SMGs Warzone has to offer.

Season 3’s Battle Pass is set to end on June 16, and the next season is expected to follow on directly after this. Assuming there are no delays or downtime, Warzone Season 4 is expected to launch on June 17.
Warzone Season 4 reveal
It was confirmed on June 7 that Season 4 will be officially revealed during the Summer Game Fest Kickoff Live. The event will begin on Thursday, June 10, at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET / 6 PM GMT.
Fans were treated to the official release of the Warzone Season 4 gameplay trailer on June 10, 2021. You can catch all of the exciting content that the new trailer teases for the Call of Duty battle royale below:
Warzone Season 4 Roadmap
June 14, 2021, saw the official Season 4 roadmap for the Call of Duty Battle Royale be revealed to the community, and it is packed with a great deal of exciting content that players will be able to enjoy starting later this week.
Warzone Season 4 Ground Fall Event
Season 4 will kick off with the new Ground Fall Event that will task players with obtaining SAT-Links from the crashed satellites across Verdansk ’84 to earn new rewards. You can find all of the official details for the event below:
“Kicking off Season Four, the “Ground Fall” limited-time event will have you find and secure SAT-Links to score exclusive rewards for your global profile across Black Ops Cold War and Warzone.
For this event, you’ll tackle objectives pertaining to the new modes, maps, and weaponry in Black Ops Cold War and to the new Points of Interest in Warzone. Completing these objectives will reward you with items such as Emblems, Calling Cards, and a Satellite Weapon Charm, as well as some XP. Complete every challenge, and you’ll receive an Epic Secondary Weapon Blueprint that is truly out of this world.
You can find more details about this event in the Seasonal Event tab on the main menu between Play and Weapons once Season Four kicks off in Warzone and Black Ops Cold War.”
New Season 4 Gulag
The Season 4 gameplay trailer gave viewers a small look at the updated Gulag for the new period of content that will launch on June 17.
Call of Duty General Manager Johanna Faries also stated during the Season 4 reveal during the Summer Games Fest that Hijacked from Black Ops II will be a new Gulag that players can battle each other on.
Hijacked being the Season 4 Gulag was once again confirmed in the June 14 Call of Duty Blog post. You can find the official description for the new Gulag below:
“Prepare for your mission in Black Ops Cold War and challenge a rival to win back deployment to Warzone with this mock-up of the classic map Hijacked, which will replace the current Standoff Gulag when Season Four launches.
This truncated version features a plywood re-creation of the yacht’s central area, a prime location for important objectives such as a Domination flag in Multiplayer, which has the same location as the Overtime flag spawn during a Gulag duel.
No need to worry about rough waters here, although you may need to avoid hitting the rocks being thrown from the balconies during your fight for survival.”
New Warzone Season 4 Vehicle
Warzone players will also get treated to a new vehicle in Season 4, as the Dirt Bike from Black Ops Cold War will be arriving in Verdansk ’84. You can find the description of this new vehicle below:
“Terror on two wheels arrives in Warzone with the release of the Dirt Bike, the first brand-new vehicle to drop into the DZ. Ramp up your off-road antics with this extremely maneuverable scrambler, scattered across Verdansk and ready to use at the start of a match.
With an excellent turning radius, carry yourself and a companion across the concrete jungle, up goat trails, and down rock-filled ravines with ease. Deft and nimble, this new option to the Warzone ground transportation fleet is ready to compete with the ATV in terms of furious off-road action.
In addition to becoming the new fastest vehicle in Warzone, the Dirt Bike will have some unique handling properties, such as wheel traction, sliding, drifting, and vehicle leaning, allowing you to take epic hairpin turns, dodge oncoming fire, or pull off sick stunts by controlling your orientation in the air.
In addition, all Dirt Bike skins you may have unlocked in Black Ops Cold War (e.g., via previous Battle Passes or Store Bundles) will be accessible, allowing you to customize your ride as soon as you saddle up.”
New Warzone POIs
The gameplay trailer released on June 10 also showed the community a first look at a new Point of Interest that will be added to Verdansk ’84 in Season 4. This new POI looks to be a crashed Satellite from space.
The official details for these new Satellite Crash POIs were revealed in the June 14 post on the Call of Duty Blog, which you can find below:
“Several Satellites have crash-landed in Verdansk, leaving you and your squad to investigate their rubble.
Although they won’t appear on your Tac Map, the Satellite Crash Sites will be plainly visible in Verdansk, as the debris and impact on the landscape is significant. Besides offering new opportunities for cover, the satellites themselves can also be secured.
Interact with the Sat-Links found in the area to work toward receiving permanent rewards in the Ground Fall event at the beginning of the season. Also, secure helpful items to use during the match, such as powerful Killstreaks, vehicles, and Field Upgrades.”
Warzone x Cold War Season 4 teaser
Ahead of the official launch of Warzone and Cold War Season 4, the final cinematic for Season 3 was revealed. Following Adler’s capture and rescue in Season 3, this new teaser shows Stitch hatching the next stage of his evil plan.
This cutscene once again hints at the leaked Red Door fast travel system (discussed further down) and teases a new Operator. Wraith says, “Our man in South Africa is standing by,” hinting at a new Operator, although that’s the only information we have so far.
CoD: Warzone Season 4 weapons
Following on from recent seasons, Cold War and Warzone will likely receive at least six new weapons over the course of Season 4.
Although appearing in Verdansk and Modern Warfare’s multiplayer, the RAAL LMG and the CX-9 SMG still haven’t been released in Warzone. These weapons were discovered early along with the Sykov, which has now made its way to Warzone, so perhaps we’ll see one or both of these elusive Modern Warfare weapons in Season 4.
As for what’s confirmed, we know that the Baseball Bat will arrive in Warzone during Season 4. Cold War players received the melee weapon after Season 3 Reloaded, but Warzone players will get access to it in Season 4.
The Season 4 gameplay trailer released on June 10, 2021, also teased the arrival of various weapons for the Call of Duty battle royale that includes the G3 Assault Rifle, Nail Gun, and Desert Eagle Pistol.
June 14, 2021, saw Activision confirm that the new weapons that players will be able to get in Warzone Season 4 will be the MG 82 LMG, C58 Assault Rifle, Nail Gun SMG, OTs 9 SMG, Mace, and the Baseball Bat.
Warzone Season 4 potential map changes
Warzone Season 3 brought the most significant map changes that the game has seen so far. Rather than some new mechanics or changes to a POI, Verdansk was nuked and we traveled back in time to Verdansk ’84 – debuting Array, Standoff, and other locations.
With the map still being only a season old, it’s highly unlikely that Verdansk will undergo such significant changes again in Season 4. However, there are likely to be some updates.
With the map reverting back to the 80s, Stadium hasn’t been built yet. It’s currently under construction, so it’s possible that it will be more built up and closer to the original Stadium.
As we saw with the positively-received Nakatomi Plaza and its elusive Vault of rewards, Raven Software is not afraid to make significant changes that can greatly alter the way games of Warzone play out.
Warzone Season 4 gameplay changes
A new fast travel system was leaked for Verdansk ’84, in which players will traverse through ‘Red Doors.’ Activision reportedly sent out a survey asking players which parts of the map they most enjoy.
This survey asked about a new fast travel system that isn’t in the game yet. Warzone received the subway fast travel system in Season 6 of Warzone’s first year, so it’s possible that a new and improved system will arrive next season.
These Red Doors were confirmed on June 14 to be arriving in Warzone at the launch of Season 4. You can find the official description of the Warzone Red Doors below:
“Our intel cannot explain the origin of these mysterious red doors around Verdansk, but one thing is certain: They allow you to [[REDACTED]] around the [[REDACTED]]. What’s behind them? Explore and enter them to [[REDACTED]] across the [[REDACTED]].
Red Doors won’t [[REDACTED]] unless you ping them, and after you step through, there’s no telling [[REDACTED]] exiting out the other side… and stepping into a [[REDACTED]].”
New Warzone Season 4 Game Modes
The community will also be treated to some new game modes in Season 4 of Warzone. These new game modes include Verdansk Resurgence Mini and Payload. You can find the descriptions for these new game modes below:
“The Resurgence has spread from Rebirth Island to Verdansk, and now every kill counts even more toward victory.
This new playlist mimics the Rebirth Island Resurgence experience more accurately compared to the standard Verdansk Resurgence Battle Royale.
In addition to the standard rules — no Gulag, extreme clarity on enemy positions upon elimination of a squad member, a Resurgence timer, and special Supply Boxes — the Verdansk Resurgence Mini features more intimate lobby sizes of 44 to 45 Operators at maximum, depending on the squad size.
Games begin in a compact DZ, with circles inside a random position in Verdansk. The first circle will be “skipped” to create a small, dense, and action-packed starting area. The items you’ll find around here are more frequent and of higher quality compared to a traditional Battle Royale mode, with games also expected to be shorter in length on average for a truly bite-sized first-person shooter survival experience.
This game mode will be available in a variety of squad sizes — Solos, Duos, Trios, and Quads — which is likely to swap into the Featured Playlist Rotation weekly following Season Four’s launch.”
“Warzone thus far has been a game of “kill or be killed.” However, during Season Four, Operators will be able to drop in for the game’s first-ever objective-based game mode: Payload.
In Payload, you and 39 other Operators drop in to escort two caravans of vehicles through a series of checkpoints or sabotage the mission. Build or destroy barriers and purchase buildings to aid in your squad’s mission, and be sure to collect any contracts you find around Verdansk, as they will help lead to success.
More details are to come on this new mode later this season.”
