How to make money in Hogwarts Legacy: Fastest ways to get Galleons
There’s much to purchase in Hogwarts Legacy, from potions to a new broomstick. Some of these items come at a hefty price, so here’s the best way to make money fast.
Hogwarts Legacy allows players to experience their childhood dream of being a student at Hogwarts, but it isn’t that easygoing. As well as fending for their life against Trolls, Dark Wizards, and Goblins, players may also run into money troubles.
Galleons, which is the Wizarding World’s currency, are hard to come by, and players will often find that they need more to make a specific purchase. Having a lot of Galleons is essential to upgrading your harvest rate in the Room of Requirement, in turn allowing you to create even more potions, grow more plants, and even better the life of your beasts in the Vivarium.
So, with that said, here’s the best and fastest way to make money in Hogwarts Legacy.
- How to make money fast in Hogwarts Legacy
- Explore the world & loot
- Sell gear to vendors
- Sell beasts at Brood and Peck
How to make money fast in Hogwarts Legacy
Explore the world & loot in Hogwarts Legacy
While it may seem obvious, exploring the map and finding loot is the easiest and probably one of the most effortless ways to make money in Hogwarts Legacy.
You don’t even have to go out of your way to find chests and loot, simply play the game and explore areas that Quests take you to and you’ll have money in no time.
The best chests for Galleons are the Disillusionment chests, which are the chests with one eye. Simply cast the Disillusionment charm to be able to open these chests and you’ll be awarded 500 Galleons.
Sell gear to Hogwart Legacy’s vendors
Another obvious but extremely effective way to make money fast in Hogwarts Legacy is collecting and selling gear. Now, you don’t want to sell your best gear, but you’ll stumble upon a lot of gear that won’t be as good as whatever you have equipped.
Sell this unused gear at any vendor in Hogwarts Legacy for Galleons, the higher the rarity, the more money you’ll get. You’ll quickly realize that it’s well worth going out of your way to sell items rather than discard them.
Make sure you complete Merlin Trials to upgrade your gear inventory so that you can hold more and not miss out on selling gear as opposed to discarding it.
Sell beasts at Brood and Peck in Hogwarts Legacy
Lastly, once you unlock the Vivarium in the Room of Requirement, players are able to capture beasts and either keep them or sell them at the Brood and Peck shop in Hogsmeade.
It doesn’t take much effort to capture beasts in Hogwarts Legacy, and there are icons on the map that mark their territory. If you want cash fast, get an easy capture of Mooncalfs and Puffskeins and sell them at Brood and Peck.
