Lynx in Honkai Star Rail

Lynx is one of Honkai Star Rail’s healers, and many players are looking forward to adding her to their teams. Here’s how to build Lynx with the best Light Cone, Relic sets, Planar Ornament, and more.

Honkai Star Rail is boosting the four-star character Lynx again, to give players the chance to get Eidolons for this powerful free healer.

Here’s how to build Lynx with the best Light Cone, Relic sets, and team members in HSR.

Lynx’s abilities in Honkai Star Rail explained

Lynx is a four-star Honkai Star Rail Quantum element character in the Path of The Abundance. This means Lynx is a healer in the game. She’s boosted in the second phase of update 2.1 in Aventurine’s banner.

Below are all of Lynx’s abilities in Honkai Star Rail:

  • Ice Crampon Technique (Basic attack) – Deals Quantum DMG to a single enemy.
  • Salted Camping Cans (Skill) – Applies “Survival Response” to a single target ally and increases their Max HP by up to 8% of Lynx’s Max HP plus 50—222.5. What’s more, if the target ally is a character on the Path of Destruction or Preservation, the chance of them being attacked by enemies will increase. The “Survival Response” state lasts for two turns and restores the target’s HP by up to 12.8% of Lynx’s Max HP plus 80—356.
  • Snowfield First Aid (Ultimate) – Dispels one debuff from all allies and immediately restores their respective HP by up to 14.4% of Lynx’s Max HP plus 90—400.5.
  • Outdoor Survival Experience (Talent) – When using Lynx’s Skill or Ultimate, apply continuous healing to the target ally for two turns, restoring part of their HP at the start of each turn. Additionally, if the target has “Survival Response,” the healing effect restores even more HP.
  • Chocolate Energy Bar (Technique) – After Lynx uses her Technique, at the start of the next battle, all allies are granted her Talent’s continuous healing effect, lasting for two turns.

Since most of Lynx’s abilities rely on her HP and Outgoing Healing, those stats should be your priority. Improving Lynx’s SPD can also help her participate more often in battle, which could also be decisive. Lastly, Lynx’s Energy Regen can also help her use her Ultimate frequently, which has both healing and supporting capabilities in battle.

Best Relics for Lynx in Honkai Star Rail

Passerby of Wandering Cloud

  • Two-piece bonus: Increases Outgoing Healing by 10%.
  • Four-piece bonus: At the beginning of the battle, immediately recovers 1 Skill Point.

For Honkai Star Rail healers, Passerby of Wandering Cloud is the best possible Relic set to equip. Lynx can benefit from it by increasing her Outgoing Healing, and if you opt for the four-piece set, you can have an additional Skill Point to use. However, it might be best to combine the two-piece set with another in this case.

Longevous Disciple

  • Two-piece bonus: Increases Max HP by 12%.
  • Four-piece bonus: When the wearer is hit or has their HP consumed by an ally or themselves, their CRIT Rate increases by 8% for two turns and up to two stacks.

As we mentioned, increasing Lynx’s Max HP can have great consequences since her healing abilities rely on this stat. While the four-piece set can be useful, we recommend combining Passerby of Wandering Cloud with Longevous Disciple.

Messenger Traversing Hackerspace

  • Two-piece bonus: Increases SPD by 6%.
  • Four-piece bonus: When the wearer uses their Ultimate on an ally, SPD for all allies increases by 12% for 1 turn. This effect cannot be stacked.

Alternatively, Messenger Traversing Hackerspace can also work like magic with Lynx. Increasing her SPD is another priority, but the four-piece set takes things one step further by improving all allies’ SPD as well. In this case, it’s probably best to have the four-piece set, but you can also combine the two-piece set with other Relics. As you can see, though, the previous alternatives are way better.

Best Planar Ornament for Lynx in Honkai Star Rail

Fleet of the Ageless is an interesting Planar Ornament for Lynx in Honkai Star Rail. It increases her Max HP by 12% and all allies’ ATK by 8% when her SPD reaches 120 or higher. This can give Lynx additional supporting capabilities on top of her healing.

Sadly, Honkai Star Rail healers don’t have many Planar Ornaments to choose from to enhance their Outgoing Healing. The next best thing, however, can be Broken Keel. This Planar Ornament increases the wearer’s Effect RES by 10%, and when the wearer’s Effect RES is at 30% or higher, all allies’ CRIT DMG increases by 10%. This will help Lynx and her teammates resist debuffs from enemies.

Best Light Cone for Lynx in Honkai Star Rail

Warmth Shortens Cold Nights

Lynx is featured in this Honkai Star Rail Light Cone, so it’s no surprise it works so well with her. Warmth Shortens Cold Nights increases the wearer’s Max HP for starters. Then, when using Basic ATK or Skill, it restores all allies’ HP by up to 4% of their respective Max HP. On top of Lynx’s abilities, this improves her skills and adds even more healing opportunities in battle.

Perfect Timing

This Light Cone is another perfect fit for Honkai Star Rail healers. It increases the wearer’s Effect RES by up to 32% and increases their Outgoing Healing by up to 27%.

Time Waits for No One

Of course, Bailu’s signature Light Cone is still the best for characters in the Path of The Abundance. This Light Cone increases the wearer’s Max HP by up to 30% and Outgoing Healing by up to 20%. That’s already a great help, but it gets even better.

When the wearer heals allies, it records the amount of Outgoing Healing. Then, when any ally launches an attack, a random attacked enemy takes additional DMG that’s between 36 and 60% of the recorded Outgoing Healing value. It’s important to note that the additional DMG is of the same Type as the wearer’s, is not affected by other buffs, and can only occur one time per turn.

Best Honkai Star Rail teams for Lynx

Since Lynx is a healer in Honkai Star Rail, you can place her in virtually any team composition. The ideal scenario is to pair her with a DPS and a support character, and then round the team up with a Shielder. However, instead of a Shielder, you could add another DPS or another support character without sacrificing much.

If you’re aiming for a free-to-play team, having Dan Heng, Asta, and the Fire Trailblazer is a standard formation that can work very well. Asta can enhance her teammates’ SPD while the Trailblazer provides Shields and Dan Heng destroys enemies.

If you have a different DPS in mind, like Seele, Blade, or Yanqing, they can also work great alongside Lynx. However, if you’re planning on having more than one damage dealer, we recommend adding characters in the Path of The Erudition since they can attack many enemies at once.

Support characters like Bronya are ideal for any team, but if you’re looking to weaken opponents, Silver Wolf is your best choice. On that note, if you prefer not having a Shielder at all, you can have two different support characters on your team.
