Honkai Star Rail Imaginary March 7th leaks & everything we know
HoYoverseLike the Trailblazer, March 7th is set to unlock new abilities in Honkai Star Rail with a new Path and Element.
Fans are eager to return to the Xianzhou Alliance for a new storyline titled Wardance, so here’s everything we know about Imaginary March 7th, a new character in the Path of The Hunt.
Does Imaginary March 7th have a release date?
HoYoverse haven’t confirmed Imaginary March 7th’s debut yet. However, players expect her to debut with the version 2.4 update that will arrive in late July 2024.
We’ll update this guide once her official release date is revealed.
Leaked abilities
- My Sword Zaps Demons (Basic ATK) – Deals Imaginary DMG to a single enemy and gains one Charge.
- Brows Be Smitten, Hearts Be Bitten (Enhanced Basic ATK) – This attack deals DMG three times initially. Each hit against the target enemy deals Imaginary DMG. After dealing the final hit, there’s a 60% fixed chance to deal one extra hit, up to three extra hits. Energy regenerated from using this ability does not increase with the number of hits and can’t recover Skill Points.
- Master, It’s Tea Time! (Skill) – Designates a single ally (excluding this character) as the Master and increases their SPD. Only the latest target of March 7th’s Skill will be regarded as her “Master.” When using Basic ATK or dealing DMG from one hit of her Enhanced Basic ATK, triggers the following effects based on the specific Path of the Master:
- Erudition, Destruction, The Hunt: Deals additional DMG (Combat Type based on the Master’s Type).
- Harmony, Nihility, Preservation, Abundance: The Toughness Reduction for this DMG increases by 100%.
- March 7th, the Apex Heroine (Ultimate) – Deals Imaginary DMG to a single target enemy. Increases the initial hits per Action of the next Enhanced Basic Attack by two hits and increases the fixed chance of additionally dealing DMG.
- Master, I’ve Ascended! (Talent) – After the Master uses an attack or Ultimate, March 7th gains up to one Charge each time. When the Charges are at seven or more, March 7th immediately takes action again and increases the DMG she deals. Her Basic ATK is Enhanced and only her Enhanced Basic ATK can be used. After using her Enhanced Basic ATK, consumes all seven Charges.
- Feast in One Go (Technique) – If March 7th is in the team, every time an ally uses Technique, March 7th gains a Charge upon entering the next battle, up to three Charges. After using her Technique, March 7th regenerates 30 Energy upon entering the next battle.
The new version is still a four-star unit, but she’ll be an Imaginary character in the Path of The Hunt. These HSR units specialize in dealing massive damage to single-target enemies, but it seems March will add some fresh elements to the role. Her abilities come from leaks, so they might change in the final version.
The beloved character was left behind as a Preservation unit after others like Fu Xuan and Aventurine debuted. And while her new version isn’t among the best Hunt characters either, she’ll have some interesting supporting abilities.
Her Skill is her most important ability and it can have different effects depending on the team composition. So she seems to be a very interesting addition for free-to-play users.
Leaked Light Cone
March 7th will debut alongside a new Light Cone for Harmony characters, and here’s its leaked description:
Poised to Bloom | Four-star | The Harmony
Increases the wearer’s ATK by 16%. Upon entering the battle, if there are two or more allies in the team who follow the same Path, these character’s CRIT DMG increases by 16%.
While the character won’t be able to use this Light Cone, it’s still an interesting pick for Harmony characters. It can only work with certain team compositions, but since it will probably be a free Light Cone, many players will find some use in it.
Imaginary March 7th leaked materials
Honkai Star Rail players will need these materials to Ascend the new March, according to leaks:

On the other hand, these are all the materials you’ll need to level her Traces up:

- 12x Destroyer’s Final Road
- 5x Tracks of Destiny
- 2,400,000 Credits

HoYoverseLeaked Eidolons
March’s new Eidolons also leaked ahead of her debut, so here’s what you need to know about them:
- My Sword Stirs Starlight (E1) – When Master is on the field, increases March 7th’s SPD by 10%.
- Blade Dances on Waves’ Fight (E2) – After the Master uses their Basic ATK or Skill to attack an enemy, March 7th immediately launches a follow-up attack and deals Imaginary DMG to the target enemy. Additionaly, triggers an effect corresponding to the Master’s Path and gains one Charge. If there is no target enemy that can be attacked, March 7th attacks a random enemy. This effect can only be triggered once per turn.
- Sharp Wit in Martial Might (E3) – Skill Level +2, up to a maximum of Level 15. Basic ATK Level +1, up to a maximum of Level 10.
- Being Fabulous Never Frights (E4) – At the start of the turn, regenerates 5 Energy.
- Swords Delights, Sugar Blights (E5) – Ultimate Level +2, up to a maximum of Level 15. Talent Level +2, up to a maximum of Level 15.
- Me, the Best Girl on Sight (E6) – After using Ultimate, increases the CRIT DMG of the next Enhanced Basic ATK by 50%.
According to leaks, the event where March gets her new Path and Element will also reward you with three of her Eidolons.
