Honkai Star Rail Moze leaks & everything we know
HoYoverseMoze is a mysterious character in Honkai Star Rail, and players already met him during the Wardance storyline. He’ll become playable soon, so it’s always good to know about his kit to plan your Stellar Jade spending accordingly before the next update arrives.
Here’s everything we know about Moze in HSR, including his leaked abilities, materials, and more.
Who is Moze in Honkai Star Rail?
Moze is called “the Crow-feathered weirdo” and was described as “cold and distant as a haunting shadow” during June’s Special Program. He’s a Shadow Guard of the Xianzhou Yaoqing and is officially described as “an expert in intelligence services and other affairs that must remain obscure.”
The new storyline in HSR started with the 2.4 update and introduced many new characters from the Xianzhou Alliance. While all characters were invited to the Wardance celebrations, a new crisis unfolded after a legendary war criminal broke out of prison.
When is Moze coming to Honkai Star Rail?
HoYoverse haven’t revealed Moze’s release date in Honkai Star Rail yet, but we expect the unit to debut with update 2.5 in September 2024. This is based on official marketing revealing Feixiao and Lingsha alongside Moze right before launching the 2.4 update.
Update 2.4 added Yunli alongside a new version of March 7th, and will also add Jiaoqiu as playable unit soon.
Leaked Moze abilities in Honkai Star Rail
- Hurlthorn (Basic ATK) – Deals Lightning DMG to a single enemy.
- Fleetwinged Raid (Skill) – Marks a designated single enemy target as the Prey, deals Lightning DMG to it, and gains nine Charges. When there are no other characters on the field that are capable of combat, Moze cannot use his Skill and dispels the enemy’s Prey state.
- Dash In, Gash Out (Ultimate) – Deals Lightning DMG to an enemy target and launches his Talent’s follow-up attack against the same target. If the target is defeated before launching the follow-up attack, Moze attacks a random enemy.
- Cascading Featherblade (Talent) – Moze will enter the Departed state while a Prey exists on the field. After allies attack the Prey, Moze will additionally deal one instance of Additional Lightning DMG and consume one Charge. For each three Charges consumed, Moze launches one follow-up attack to the Prey, dealing Lightning DMG. When Charge are depleted, dispels the target’s Prey state and reset the Charge consumption count. This attack does not consume Moze’s Charges.
- Bated Wings (Technique) – After using his Technique, Moze gains Stealth for 20 seconds. While Stealth is active, Moze cannot be detected by enemies. Increases the DMG Moze deals when he enters combat by attacking enemies while in Stealth mode, lasting for one turn.
Moze is a 4-star Lightning character in the Path of The Hunt. These characters specialize in dealing massive damage to single-target enemies. There’s no character with that element and Path combination, but players will get the chance to add another powerful Hunt when Moze debuts alongside Feixiao.
While Moze is a 4-star unit, players already see a lot of uses for him. Honkai Star Rail has added many characters with follow-up attacks in recent updates and Moze can fit right in with them.
Leaked Light Cone
Moze will debut alongside his signature Light Cone, and here’s its leaked description:
Shadowed by Night
Increases the wearer’s Break Effect by 28%. Upon entering battle or dealing Break DMG, increases SPD by 8% for two turns. This effect can only be triggered one time per turn.
Many characters released during the Penacony storyline rely on their Break Effect, so this Light Cone can work for units like Boothill. However, it’s still a 4-star Light Cone, so you can probably get better alternatives in limited-time banners.
