Honkai Star Rail is always teasing players with interesting characters, and Xueyi is coming very soon to HoYoverse’s RPG. Here’s everything we know about her, including her official release date, abilities, and more.

Honkai Star Rail introduced players to Huohuo and Argenti with the version 1.5 update. However, HoYoverse already teased what’s coming next with the 1.6 update that will see the official debut of Xueyi as playable character.

Who is Xueyi in Honkai Star Rail?

Xueyi is one of the judges of the Ten-Lords Commission in Honkai Star Rail. Players already met her on a couple of missions while exploring the Xianzhou Luofu and even some limited-time events. As a judge, she is in charge of the detention of criminals, and she uses iron chains and a Marasunder Awl as weapons.

Her lore is quite interesting since it’s said that Xueyi’s been dead for years, but she uses a puppet to continue her duties.

In terms of gameplay, she’s a four-star Quantum element character in the Path of The Destruction. This means she’ll focus on dealing damage to both single targets and AoE (Area of Effect).

Xueyi Honkai Star Rail release date

Xueyi will debut in Honkai Star Rail with the first phase of the 1.6 update, meaning she’ll arrive in the game on December 27, 2023.

All Honkai Star Rail Xueyi leaked abilities

Thanks to reliable Honkai Star Rail leaks, players can already check the abilities Xueyi will have:

• Skill: Xueyi deals Quantum DMG to a single enemy and less DMG to adjacent enemies.
• Ultimate: Xueyi deals Quantum DMG to a single enemy and it can ignore the enemy’s weak points and reduce their tenacity. Each layer of “Vendetta” obtained during this attack increases the damage dealt up to a maximum of 76%.
• Talent: When Xueyi deals tenacity damage to an enemy, she gains up to six layers of “Vendetta.” When it reaches the maximum, Xueyi immediately launches an additional attack against the enemy, dealing three instances of Quantum damage to a random enemy. If the target’s weak point is Quantum damage, the damage dealt by this attack will be increased.
• Technique: Xueyi immediately attacks a random enemy, dealing Quantum damage to all enemies after entering battle.

It looks like Xueyi’s gameplay will be pretty straightforward, and if some players lack a powerful Quantum character in their team, they could consider her a great asset in battle. Xueyi could be either a great DPS or sub-DPS, so keep that in mind when pulling for and building her.

We’ll need to wait for her official release to confirm this information, but many players are already working on team compositions that can benefit from her abilities.
