Find out you can earn yourself an extra $1 million a month, for free, to spend on Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto Online.

Our easy guide will provide you with a detailed explanation of how to claim $1 million a month in Rockstar’s GTA Online for absolutely nothing on PlayStation – specifically PS Plus members.

To say that Rockstar struck gold with Grand Theft Auto V would be the understatement of the century. The already insanely-popular sandbox series reached even higher levels of success thanks to GTA 5, selling over 140 million copies, and GTA Online in particular. The online-only, live service catapulted the franchise to new heights of profitability.

As such, the game was re-released on last-gen, and it’s even coming to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X for one more round. As a reward, Rockstar has decided to give back to the community by offering $1 million per month for PS Plus owners on PlayStation.

Regular beneficiaries of this promotion may wonder why they haven’t received their free $1 million this month. The system to hand out the money has changed, and we have all the details.

The ‘Expanded and Enhanced’ version of GTA 5 for PS5 and Xbox Series X was announced in mid-2020 and would represent the third generation of consoles that the game will feature on. Its announcement and eventual release will ensure that GTA fans are entertained until GTA VI has an official date.

To keep players ticking over until GTA V’s latest re-release, Rockstar has been providing weekly updates for GTA Online and even created a whole new expansion for the game with the Cayo Perico Heist.

They have also graciously offered all PlayStation owners with PS Plus memberships the chance to claim free, in-game money. For every month until the game’s release, PS Plus members would receive $1 million for free for simply logging into the game each month.

However, this is no longer the method required to claim the free currency. Instead, there is a slightly more convoluted way to do so.

Here is how to claim your free $1 million GTA$ a month:

  1. Boot up your PlayStation console
  2. Head to the PlayStation Store
  3. Search for “GTA Online PS Plus”
  4. One of the first options should be “PS Plus: GTA$1,000,000 for GTA Online”
  5. Click “Download”
  6. Now launch GTA 5 and go onto GTA Online
  7. You should find the money in your character’s account

You have until the last day of each month to claim your free $1 million, and then you have will have a chance to claim another $1 million the month after and so forth.

This promotion is only until GTA 5 comes out on the PS5 and Xbox Series X, so make the most of it whilst you can!

Grand Theft Auto V Expanded and Enhanced is due for release in the second-half of 2021.

TOTW is back again in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, and we’ve got everything you need to know about how it works – including the latest squad.

EA has revealed that the Team of the Week is returning to FIFA 22 Ultimate Team. This time, however, they’re addressing some long-running fan complaints. Here’s how FIFA 22 TOTW will work.

Ultimate Team remains the most popular mode in the FIFA series. One of the many reasons for this is how it incorporates real-world football into its addictive gameplay loop through special cards, such as Icons or the new FUT Heroes.

One of the mode’s oldest special items is the Team of the Week, which offers players a weekly batch of new upgraded cards to help build out their squads. We’ve got everything you need to know about FUT TOTW right here.

We’ll be updating this hub with the latest FIFA 22 TOTW, so be sure to check back here every week.

The very first FIFA 22 TOTW is here, and it’s full of big names. Liverpool’s Mohammed Salah is one of the standouts after his display in the win against Leeds.

Meanwhile, Bayern’s Joshua Kimmich is the joint-highest rated, following the German champions’ strong to the season.

Ivan Toney is the featured TOTW. His card has been boosted from 76 to an impressive 84.

Check out the full squad for TOTW 1 here:

What are TOTW cards in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team?

Team of the Week items are special cards that boost stats based on that player’s performance in the previous week of real-world games. Any player awarded an in-form will see both their ratings and in-game stats get a permanent increase.

Every week, EA unveils a 23-man squad of the stars who had the best games in the previous domestic or international fixtures round. They could be awarded for a last-minute winner in a big game or a heroic performance from a goalkeeper to keep a clean sheet.

Each TOTW is available in packs for an entire week until it is replaced by the next squad on the following Wednesday. Player’s can not receive an in-form two weeks in a row.

While the in-form card is in packs, it replaces the base version of that player. The normal card will return to packs when that TOTW is over.

FIFA 22 Ultimate Team Featured TOTW

In FIFA 22, EA has addressed fans’ complaints that TOTW items are often quickly rendered useless by the other promotional cards added to the game throughout the year.

Every week, one player will receive a special Featured TOTW card. These players will receive a larger boost than the rest of the squad in an attempt to make them more desirable to those building their teams.

To qualify for this additional stat-boost, the player must have a base card that is under 80-rated and not have any other performance-based card in packs – such as a Ones to Watch.

When is the TOTW released?

Historically, EA announces the latest TOTW every Wednesday so that any Monday night games can be considered.

Historically, the announcement comes at 10 AM PT / 2 PM ET / 6 PM GMT, although TOTW 1 arrived a couple of hours earlier.

We’ll update this post with an exact schedule as and when it is available.

Apex Legends Season 10 Ranked updates: Arenas, map rotation, split dates, & rewards

A new season of Apex Legends means a new season of Ranked Leagues, from map rotation to split dates, we’ve got you covered.

Apex Legends Season 10: Emergence is almost here, which also means an update for Ranked Leagues, so let’s get into the details.

Apex Legends Ranked Leagues is an excellent place for those who want to test their skills out and play for points in a competitive environment, which, starting in Season 10, will also be available in Arenas.

No matter how good you are, Apex Legends has a detailed ranking system that will place you on a similar playing field once you play enough games. With Season 10 incoming, let’s check out the updates arriving for the ranked playlist.

Apex Legends season 10 ranked worlds edge

Although there are no significant changes for Ranked Leagues this season, there are still a few things to go over, such as split dates, rewards, and map rotation.

Split dates

As Apex Legends Season 10 begins on August 3, this would then mean that the first ranked split will also start on the same day, with the second split coming halfway through the season.

Due to the recent server issues in Apex Legends, Respawn has decided to extend the first split by one week, meaning the first split now ends on September 28.

With that being said, this means that the second split will also start on September 28, ending when the season finishes. This means that players will lose one week from the second split, so hopefully, there aren’t further server issues.

Map rotation

apex legends worlds edge decimated

Every new season two maps get picked for Ranked Leagues, one which spans the first split and another that spans the second.

For Season 10, players will be dropping into Decimated World’s Edge, which has been showcased in the trailers leading up to Season 10’s release.

In the second split, players will be back on Kings Canyon, or at least the Season 8 version of Kings Canyon, with all the most recently made changes to it.

Season 10 rewards

apex legends season 10 ranked

Depending on what level you managed to reach in Ranked Leagues for Season 9, players will receive rewards at the start of Season 10.

The rewards include gun charms, badges, season-long dive trails for those who manage to reach the higher ranks, and new this season, Holo Sprays.

The rewards for Season 9’s Ranked Leagues have been revealed by EA, showing off the badges and dive trails players will receive.

Ranked Arenas

arenas

Season 10 will also mark the first season of Ranked Arenas, which Respawn released details about fairly recently.

3 new BR maps will join Phase Runner, Party Crasher, and Overflow, with one of them joining the trio and rotating with each other every two weeks. The new maps include:

  • King’s Canyon – Hillside
  • World’s Edge – Dome
  • Olympus – Oasis

As well as new maps, Ranked Arenas will also feature new maps and an exclusive ranking system.

Although not much has been shared about how ranking will work in Arenas, we suspect the names and ranks will be the same. However, how you receive points and the number of points you need to rank up will differ from Battle Royale mode.

That’s all for the ranked playlist in Apex Legends Season 10. For more updates, stay tuned on Charlie INTEL, and if you’ve been a victim of the recent unfair banning, check out our article for an explanation.

Are Apex Legends servers down? Current server status

We’ve found a great way to check Apex Legends’ server status for all regions so you can see whether or not the Apex Legends servers are down.

Published

on

apex legends servers down server status

Like any other popular multiplayer game, apex Legends has its fair share of bugs and server issues. However, we’ve found a great way for players to check their region’s Apex Legends server status, so let’s get into how you can check if the servers are down.

Apex Legends dropped Season 10 on August 3, which to many player’s surprise, was a very smooth launch with next to no server issues. This was a very different situation from Season 9’s launch, which saw a host of problems.

Although the servers have been relatively stable recently, players encounter these issues reasonably often and may even wonder whether it’s an issue on their end.

If you encounter any future server issues, we have an excellent way for you to check the Apex Legends server status.

Are Apex Legends servers down?

Due to the Evolution Collection Event update that was released on September 14, players are experiencing difficulty connecting to the EA Servers.

However, it is important to note that this is not your connection, but rather the Apex Legends servers struggling to stabilize after the update.

Luckily, Respawn Entertainment has been hard at work to fix this issue, releasing a recent patch that seems to have stabilized player’s servers and extending the ranked split for those who have lost grinding time due to the issues.

If you are still experiencing an issue even after the recent fix, Respawn has confirmed that they will be working hard to ship another update on September 22, hopefully fixing the issue for everyone and making the server much more stable.

One of the most obvious ways to stay updated on whether or not the Apex Legends servers are down is by following updates on Apex Legends Twitter account and the development team at Respawn.

Usually, one of those accounts will be updating and communicating to players about any server issues going on. Further, you could even follow the Director of Communications for Respawn, Ryan Rigney, who is usually great at keeping players in the loop regarding whether or not the Apex Legends servers are down.

If you don’t have Twitter or have checked and haven’t seen any update on whether or not the Apex Legends servers are down, perhaps the problems you are experiencing are that of your setup or region.

How to check the server status

There is a great way to check the regional Apex Legends server status for these specific problems so that you can see whether the issues you are experiencing are regional or due to your internet service provider.

The way to do so is through a handy website called apexlegendsstatus, which will give you a breakdown of server status in all the available regions, as well as all the platforms you could be playing the game on.

are apex legends servers down

The website will even tell you how much latency (ms) in each server, significantly indicating its stability.

Further, you can also report issues if there isn’t too much notice about the issue on the website, which will be added to a live report map you can check to see if people in your region are also experiencing the issue.

So, if you’re having issues, check this website to see whether it’s the platform or server you are playing that is having problems, or if these are all up and running, you can put it down to your setup.

Well, there you have it. This is the best way you can check the Apex Legends server status. For more on Apex, stay tuned to Charlie INTEL and check out our recent article on what Ordnance are and how to use them.
