How to complete FIFA 22 Flashback Benzema: FUT SBC requirements

FIFA 22 Ultimate Team players have the chance to earn a Flashback Benzema alongside the well-received Black Friday promo.

Benzema Flashback SBC FUT 22

The most recent Flashback SBCs in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team are giving players a chance to earn some spectacular high-quality additions. Here’s how to meet the Flashback Benzema SBC requirements.

Expectations were high prior to the Ultimate Team Black Friday promotion. It’s safe to say players are happy with the content EA has provided over this period.

Some of the promo cards released in the past week are amongst the best in FIFA 22. If you thought Rulebreakers or Road to the Knockouts were some of the best promos, guess again.

With Benzema, players will receive a well-rounded striker that can easily torment your opponents’ backline.

What are FIFA 22 Flashback cards?

Mbappe Fifa 22

Much as the name suggests, Flashbacks are a throwback to a player’s previous cards in past FIFA games.

Sometimes this may be a carbon copy of an old Team of the Season or a card with stats inspired by a past season.

In the case of Karim Benzema, his Flashback is an ode to his debut season with current club and Spanish giants Real Madrid in 2009/2010.

This is the fourth iteration of Benzema to appear in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.

Players have until 10 AM PDT / 1 PM EDT / 6 PM GMT on Friday, December 3, 2021, to complete the two SBCs required for Flashback Benzema.

At the time of writing, according to FUTBIN, the full group of SBCs is clocking in at around 135,000 depending on which platform you play on.

Of course, this is only if you have to buy every single player and don’t have fodder to apply to the SBCs.

Check out the full list of SBC requirements and each one’s value below.

  • Real Madrid (48,000)
    • Minimum one Real Madrid player
    • Minimum one Signature Signings player
    • Minimum 83 Team Rating
    • Minimum 75 Team Chemistry
  • LaLiga (85,000)
    • Minimum one LaLiga player
    • Minimum one TOTW player
    • Minimum 85 Team Rating
    • Minimum 70 Team Chemistry

Is Flashback Benzema worth it?

Flashback Benzema FUT stats

Although Benzema has one standard and two upgraded cards that boast a higher overall than this Flashback item, players believe this is currently the best version of Benzema available in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.

This is the classic case of an overall not dictating how great an item truly is. The Flashback version alleviates the major issues that held back Benzema’s 91 overall Player of the Month card.

Benzema FUT 22 comparison

Compared to the POTM item, this Flashback Benzema has better pace and agility which minimizes the clunky feeling players had with the former. In addition medium/medium work rates have been adjusted to the favorable high/low.

Players will be happy to learn that this SBC costs even less than Benzema’s POTM. Not only is this Flashback Benzema available at a great price but he feels great in-game. With above-average pace, shooting, and dribbling, Benzema has all of the tools a top striker needs to succeed.

The French nationality is one of the easiest to link in squads. Players aren’t exactly forced to put a La Liga team together. This isn’t a case of completing if you have the fodder. Flashback Benzema is a can’t miss item that you absolutely need to try.

That was everything you need to know about how to complete the Flashback Benzema SBC in FIFA 22. For more on FIFA 22, be sure to check out the latest on the Next Generation promo.

FIFA 23 Pro Clubs: Cross-play, Leveling changes, skill games, more

FIFA 23’s Pro Clubs mode introduces several new features, like skill games, season progression changes, and new Perks.

Published

FIFA 23 pro clubs

Here’s everything you need to know about FIFA 23’s Pro Clubs mode including the latest news on cross-play inclusion, changes to leveling and progression, as well as the new skill games feature.

EA Sports are set to deliver new features across each of FIFA 23’s game modes including Career Mode, Ultimate Team, and Pro Clubs. As the final iteration of the iconic franchise to boast the FIFA branding, expectations are high for FIFA 23.

While Ultimate Team tends to receive the bulk of the attention from players, Pro Clubs is a well-liked mode with a passionate community that enjoys teaming up with friends online.

FIFA 23 is set to deliver some changes and improvements when it comes to Pro Clubs, and here’s a breakdown of what you should expect.

FIFA 23 Pro Clubs post-launch cross-play

Fans of Pro Clubs were shocked and appalled when they discovered that FIFA 23 would exclude the highly requested cross-play feature from impacting the mode’s gameplay. It’s the first time that a FIFA game will have cross-play and Pro Clubs players were furious with the exclusion.

The backlash from the decision to exclude Pro Clubs from cross-play functionality has led to a statement from EA.

The statement confirmed that EA “recognize what cross-play functionality could mean to the Pro Clubs mode with the potential for improving matchmaking and allowing friends from different platforms of the same generation to play together. “

It’s a positive sign to see the devs address player concerns. They reaffirmed that while FIFA 23 will not have cross-play for Pro Clubs at launch, it is something they’re working on: “As we look at our cross-play future, we’re focused on matchmaking in Pro Clubs, VOLTA, and FUT Co-op, as well as cross-platform lobby invites and ultimately cross-platform Pro Clubs.”

However, there’s no confirmation if the future they refer to is one that will affect FIFA 23 post-launch or rather the next footballing title they produce.

Pro Clubs leveling changes & new Perks in FIFA 23

EA have amended the method to level up your player in FIFA 23 Pro Clubs. After continuous player complaints of slow progression over the years, EA have finally decided to make the grind a more simple and rewarding task.

You’ll receive more XP after a match to ensure “fair distribution of XP for supporting players who contribute to success without putting the ball in the back of the net themselves.”

Here are the changes to leveling you will experience in FIFA 23 Pro Clubs:

  1. The amount of XP required to move from level to level has decreased considerably.
  2. The amount of XP required to reach the maximum level has been decreased.
  3. The maximum level has been increased from 25 levels to 100.
  4. Players can earn a maximum of 185 Skill Points.
  5. All Perks will be unlocked through the course of the first 25 levels. Beyond level 25, players will continue to unlock more perk slots, and earn more Skill Points.

These changes have been implemented to reduce the effort needed to max out your level.

In addition to these leveling changes, EA are also introducing four new Perks to Pro Clubs. Perks can be utilized to alter your performance on the pitch so unlocking valuable ones can lead to more success.

Here are the four new Perks and what they do:

Attacking Perks

  • Poacher – Increases your all-round finishing (including boosts to Volleys, Finishing, and Heading Accuracy) when inside the box.

Chance Creation Perks

  • Light Passes – Increases your teammates’ ability to trap and control your passes.

Defensive Perks

  • Interceptor – Improves your ability to intercept & disrupt your opposition’s passes & shots when defending and in close proximity to the ball.
  • Chase Down – Increases your pace when defending immediately following a loss of possession. The perk will deactivate after 40 in-game seconds if you have not regained possession.

Pro Clubs & Volta shared seasonal progression

FIFA 23 Pro Clubs and Volta progession

For the first time, Pro Clubs will adopt a season progression system in FIFA 23. This new seasonal system will share its progress with the Volta experience. Playing either mode will level up your player and you’ll earn shared seasonal progress as a result.

Furthermore, players will be able to earn rewards in Volta, such as player cosmetics, and bring them back to equip in Pro Clubs matches. This is great news for FIFA 23 players as you’ll have more chances to progress through the six-week season.

FIFA 23 Pro Clubs skill games

FIFA 23 Pro Club skill games

The new skill games feature will give players something to do while waiting for their Pro Clubs teammates to come online. Completing these skill games will contribute to your player’s growth.

You can also compete with your teammates for bragging rights within your club as you attempt to land the highest score possible in each of the mini-games.

Ultimately, you’ll experience less wasted time than ever in FIFA 23 Pro Clubs as there will always be a method to earn XP even when your teammates are offline.

FIFA 23 Premier League ratings: Every team’s best players predictions

The Premier League is set to host some of the best players in FIFA 23, so we’ve predicted who will have the highest rating for each club.

FIFA 23 Premier League ratings

The Premier League will be home to some of FIFA 23’s brightest stars, with players from the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool set to dominate Ultimate Team. Here are our predictions for the top Premier League ratings in FIFA 23, as well as every team’s best players.

Each and every year, EA updates its roster of players with new ratings based on how they performed in the previous season, and FIFA 23 is no exception. The 2021/22 campaign saw some exceptional performances, which will no doubt be reflected in the FIFA 23 ratings.

One of the biggest leagues to feature in FIFA 23 is the Premier League. Whether you’re building your dream Ultimate Team or embarking on a Career Mode, the English top-flight is likely to play a part.

But who will be the best players in the Premier League? We’ve put together our predictions for the top 10 highest-rated Premier League players in FIFA 23, and highlighted the best players from each club.

Harry KaneSpurs90
Alison BeckerLiverpool+190
EdersonManchester City+190
Erling HaalandManchester City+290
Virgil Van DijkLiverpool89
Trent Alexander-ArnoldLiverpool+288

After they two fought tooth and nail for all three domestic trophies last season, we’re expecting Manchester City and Liverpool to dominate the ratings in FIFA 23.

After winning Premier League Player of the Season, Kevin De Bruyne will likely keep his lofty 91 rating, sharing the top spot with Cristiano Ronaldo, who also enjoyed a great individual season in a struggling United team.

We’ve listed Erling Haaland as one of the highest climbers, who should receive a large bump after his high-profile move to City. Trent Alexander-Arnold is also expected to be rewarded after his best season to date, managing 12 assists from right back.

Heung Min-Son also registered his most prolific year in the Premier League so far, finishing as the joint-top goalscorer. This should be enough to see him move up a rating and join the coveted 90 club.

FIFA 23 Premier League rating predictions: Every team’s best players

While most clubs won’t have a shot of landing a player in the top 10, it’s still interesting to see how EA upgrades and downgrades stars from across the league. Every team had both standouts and flops that should be reflected when FIFA 23 rolls around.

With this in mind, we’ve made our predictions for every Premier League club’s top three players in FIFA 23:

FIFA 23 FUT Hero leaks

Ultimate Team fans will once again have the opportunity to utilize FUT Hero cards in FIFA 23 after they made their debut in FIFA 22. Here’s a list of all the FUT Hero cards expected in FIFA 23.

FIFA 23 will be the final game of the franchise to include the FIFA branding before EA shifts to EA Sports FC. Fans have high expectations for the game that will bring an end to the partnership’s dominant era.

While FIFA 23 is set to introduce new features like World Cup content and crossplay support, Ultimate Team fans will be happy to know that some returning features will also appear in FIFA 23.

One of these returning features is none other than FUT Hero cards. Here’s everything you need to know about FUT Hero cards in FIFA 23.

What are FUT Hero cards in FIFA 23

FUT Hero cards were a new introduction in FIFA 22 and the concept is meant to highlight incredible players of the past who never quite reached icon status.

EA picked a set of players that shared a common characteristic of leadership and respect for the clubs they played for.

These Hero items are special cards in FUT as they utilize unique chemistry attributes. They offer league-specific chemistry and provide a green club link to any player within the same league.
