How to complete FIFA 22 Flashback Pereira SBC

EA have dropped a FIFA 22 SBC for a Flashback Pereira – a throwback to his FIFA 20 Shapeshifters card. Here’s how to complete the SBC.

FIFA 22 Flashback Pereira

The latest major SBC to drop in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team is for a Flashback Pereira, which sees the Portuguese defender switch flanks and play left-back. Here’s how to complete the FIFA 22 Flashback Pereira SBC along with the cheapest solutions.

With Team 4 now out in the wild, the Shapeshifters promo is drawing to a close and is set to be replaced by FUTTIES in the not-too-distant future. But EA aren’t finished with Shapeshifters just yet and have been releasing a steady stream of quality SBCs.

The most recent is to earn a Flashback Ricardo Pereira, which converts the Leicester man into a left-back to celebrate his appearance in FUT 20 Shapeshifters.

Here’s everything you need to know before completing the FIFA 22 Flashback Pereira SBC, including the requirements and cheapest solutions.

FIFA 22 Flashback Pereira stats

There aren’t too many affordable FIFA 22 left-backs in the Premier League that still have high-quality stats, but Flashback Pereira fills this gap nicely. 94 Defending means he’ll be a tough opponent for tricky wingers, but 90 Crossing makes him more than capable of helping out in attack.

Crucially, he’s also been awarded four-star weak foot, so he shouldn’t be caught out as a right-footer playing on the opposite side. Given how many meta defenders and midfielders are found in the Premier League, Pereira could be the missing link in your team.

The good news is, if you’re looking to add Flashback Pereira to your FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, you only have to submit a single squad, which clocks in at around 91,000 coins according to FUTBIN.

For a 94-rated card with impressive stats, this feels like an absolute steal. Not to mention the valuable Chemistry links as a Portuguese player in the Premier League.

Check out the requirements for FIFA 22 Flashback Pereira along with the cheapest possible solution.

  • # of players from Premier League: Min 1
  • Squad Rating: Min 86
  • Team Chemistry: Min 50

Players have until Sunday, July 17, to complete the Flashback Pereira SBC. It doesn’t offer too much time, but since the requirements are relatively kind, you should have problems cobbling together the coins.

While he may not be a challenge to the likes of TOTS Cancelo, he’s probably the strongest Premier League left-back on offer right now that won’t break the bank.

FIFA 23’s new FUT Moments rewards have Ultimate Team players delighted

In FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, players can earn more rewards than ever thanks to the new FUT Moments mode, leaving many delighted.

The prospect of earning Ultimate Team rewards is one of the mode’s main attractions, and this year players will have more opportunities to do so than ever thanks to FIFA 23’s new FUT Moments feature.

FIFA players are always looking for more ways to grind and sink hours into their favorite football game. For some time, the Ultimate Team mode has allowed players to earn rewards through Squad Battles, Division Rivals, and FUT Champions.

Luckily, FIFA 23 players will have another method to earn rewards for their squad thanks to the new FUT Moments Ultimate Team mode. This single-player offering is one of many new additions to the Ultimate Team mode in FIFA 23.

The mode will task players with completing a number of specific objectives. These objectives will often be short scenarios where players hop into already started matches. The scenarios will be based on legendary moments and memorable real-life football matches.

The good news for players is that completing scenarios will result in stars earned. Stars will be a new currency in Ultimate Team with valuable rewards up for grabs. Each reward will have a certain price set in stars.

For example, a Premium Gold Pack could cost 12 stars to unlock. FUT Moments is being tipped as a standalone live service, with new challenges added after release. Much to the delight of players, FUT Moments will provide extra achievements to grind for alongside Ultimate Team’s usual offerings.

Players on Reddit have already begun discussing the impact FUT Moments will have on FIFA 23’s Ultimate Team experience. The vast majority of comments were positive such as this one: “This is such a W, it adds more grind potential for everyone and also gives people that like to focus on single player only something else to do.”

Players absolutely love to earn packs and improve Ultimate Team squads with new players, and FUT Moments gives them yet another method to do so.

In addition, the same player noted that “FUT Stars you win from this never expire and transfer across seasons, that is really great news too.” The most valuable FUT Moments rewards are likely going to set players back a hefty amount of stars. Therefore, the fact that stars do not expire after every season is seen as a massive win for all FUT fans.

One player explained just how efficient this new mode could be by comparing it to Squad Battles: “It’s also fast sessions of gameplay. No boring 15 min. squad battles games, they’re quick scenarios that can be completed in 2/3 mins.”

While playing Squad Battles offers valuable rewards, the gameplay is hated by many as it’s a slow offline path to rewards. In comparison, FUT Moments has the ability to place players on the fast track to new Ultimate Team rewards.

The FIFA 23 developers have added the viral dance known as the “Griddy” for players to perform in the game, and here’s how you can get this done.

There is a ton of anticipation for the release of FIFA 23, as the game is set to bring a ton of new features for fans of the series to explore in its Career ModeUltimate Team, and Pro Clubs.

Now, developer Electronic Arts have added the “Griddy” dance as a new celebration that you can trigger after scoring a goal in the game. We’ll go over exactly how to perform the viral dance.

How to perform the Griddy celebration in FIFA 23

After you’ve scored a goal, you’ll need to hold down R2/RT and flick the right control stick upwards twice in order to perform the Griddy celebration in FIFA 23. Your player will then start tapping his heels while swinging his arms back and forth.

The Griddy dance is named after its creator Allen ‘Griddy’ Davis and became a viral sensation after popular celebrities like LSU’s Ja’Marr Chase and Viking’s number 18 Justin Jefferson brought it to the NFL.

Since then, numerous players have performed the dance, and its intense popularity has led to the Griddy also being added to video games like Fortnite and Madden. Now, it’s available for you to try out in FIFA 23.

Now that you know how to perform the Griddy in FIFA 23, be sure to try it out if you feel like celebrating a particularly challenging goal. It may take a few tries to input the correct button combo, but you’ll be able to get it done in no time.

You can try performing it in the closed beta before the game is officially released on September 30, 2022. We’ll keep you posted about any other new additions to FIFA 23 as soon as they’re confirmed.

FIFA 23: Release date, crossplay, new features, more

FIFA 23 is right around the corner, and EA have prepared a ton of new content for players to enjoy so here’s everything you need to know.

Published

FIFA 23 Mbappe face

FIFA 23 release date is fast approaching, and football fans are eager to discover what EA has in store for them this year. Here’s everything you need to know about FIFA 23.

FIFA 23 will be EA Sports’ final football game with the FIFA branding as they get set to introduce EA Sports FC to the world next year.

Therefore, expectations for FIFA 23 are high and after EA showcased the new features and additions that await players across Career Mode, Ultimate Team, and Pro Clubs, there’s clearly a look to look forward to.

We’ll break down every new feature coming to FIFA 23 as well as the official release date, to best prepare you for an expansive final chapter.

Will FIFA 23 have crossplay?

FIFA 23 will have a crossplay feature for certain modes at launch. Crossplay in FIFA 23 will be limited to 1vs1 modes when the game releases. This will mainly impact Ultimate Team gameplay as players on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC will face each other. Meanwhile, PS4 and Xbox One users will also match up against each other

This also means that a massive amount of players will be sharing one FUT market in FIFA. To find out more about changes to the market, you can read our article explaining how the Ultimate Team market will function in FIFA 23.

Unfortunately, EA confirmed that there would be no crossplay feature for the Pro Clubs mode. This infuriated players, and after a ton of backlash from the FIFA community, EA hinted that the feature could make its way to Pro Clubs post-launch.

FIFA 23 Ultimate Team new features

FIFA 23 Ultimate Team fans are in for some major changes. For starters, position modifiers as we know them will be removed from the game.

Instead, players will have secondary positions that mirror their real-life position changes. For example, Kyler Walker would be able to operate on full chemistry at RB or CB.

FIFA 23 Ultimate Team squad chemistry

Another major change set to hit the Ultimate Team mode is FIFA 23’s brand-new chemistry system. Chemistry lines across your squad are a thing of the past in FIFA 23. You’ll know have more freedom to build your squad with a less restrictive chemistry system.

This system will factor in nations, leagues, and clubs across the entire pitch in order to give players a chemistry rating between 0-3. Proximity is no longer a factor as Andrew Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold produce chemistry from RB to LB.

Check out our guide on Ultimate Team’s new game mode called FUT Moments for a look at what to expect in FIFA 23.

FIFA 23 World Cup modes

The World Cup mode added to FIFA 18 was a massive hit among players, and the community has been urging EA to revisit the feature for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

While we currently don’t know how many game modes will feature World Cup content, EA did confirm that there will be some involvement via the Ultimate Team mode.

It’s understood that both the men’s and women’s versions of the World Cup will be celebrated in FIFA 23, but we’ll have to wait and see what they have in store for players.

Mallory Pugh in FIFA 22

Given that the men’s tournament takes place in the winter of 2022 this time around, and the women’s edition is in the summer of 2023, EA would have plenty of time to give both footballing festivals the proper treatment.

FIFA 23 new & removed clubs

Due to licensing agreements, it’s not unusual to see clubs and leagues join and depart the FIFA franchise with every new release. Lately, certain Serie A licenses have been difficult to come by with notable clubs Juventus, Lazio, and Atalanta missing from the game.

EA confirmed that Juventus will be returning to FIFA this year in full capacity, with Claudio Marchisio leading the charge as a FUT Hero item available to Ultimate Team players.

While one partnership seems to be reignited, another one is set to end in FIFA 23 as reports claim that the J-League will be removed from the game. If reports are true, this would mark the end of a 6-year partnership between the Japanese League and EA Sports.

With a ton of different licenses to take note of, it could be difficult to keep track of which teams, leagues, and stadiums will be involved in FIFA 23, but we’ve made a guide to help you out.

FIFA 23 gameplay changes

In addition to changes to the Pro Clubs and Career Mode offerings in FIFA 23, EA were also excited to announce several gameplay changes. These changes are meant to freshen up the way the game feels on the pitch.

For starters, set pieces have undergone an overhaul in FIFA 23, with penalties receiving a simplified mechanic. Set pieces also include free kicks and corners, which you’ll have to learn how to master once more this year.

One of the most entertaining ways to flex your FIFA prowess is through skill moves, and in FIFA 23 there will be more to master than ever before. You can check out our guide to discover all of the gameplay changes being introduced in FIFA 23.
