Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 has brought tons of surprises, including the extremely popular Zero Build mode and new Ranger Shotgun. Players now have the opportunity to get some new rewards with the Lantern Trials through daily challenges as part of the Lantern Fest.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Trials, including the start and end dates, all challenges, and the rewards.

When are the Fortnite Lantern Trials?

The Lantern Trials for Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 2 will begin on April 20 at 4 AM ET / 1 AM PT / 9 AM BST and run until April 24 at 11:59 PM ET / 8:59 AM PT / 4:69 PM BST.

During this period, players will be accomplishing Daily Challenges in order to earn new cosmetic rewards. According to the Epic Games blog, players will have the opportunity to earn every reward they have missed during the Trials, so make sure you don’t miss out on April 24.

How to sign up for the Lantern Trials

In order to participate in Fortnite’s Lantern Trials and earn rewards through daily challenges, players must first sign up.

Here’s how players can sign up for the Trials:

  1. Visit the Fortnite Lantern Trials website.
  2. Sign up for the Trials with your Epic Games account.
  3. Once you have signed up, Fornite will track your “in-game actions and calculate your points in the Trials.”
  4. Now just play the game, complete the daily challenges and redeem your rewards over on the website you signed up on.

Fortnite Lantern Trials challenges and stretch goals

Players will be completing a daily challenge and something called a “stretch goal” during the Lantern Trials.

The challenges will vary but as of April 20, the first challenge is to get eliminations. Each elimination counts as one point for the Lantern Trials.

By getting one point for a daily challenge, players will unlock the reward for that particular day. However, if they decide to take it a step further and complete the stretch goal, which is also called the “Milestone of the Day,” players will unlock even more rewards.

Completing two of these “Milestone of the Day” challenges across the five days of the Trials will provide a further reward, so let’s get into the cosmetics you will be obtaining.

Fortnite x Dragon Ball Z crossover event: Release date, skins, leaks & rumors

A Dragon Ball Z crossover is coming to Fortnite, and here’s everything we know about it, including the annouced release date.

Published

Epic Games are bringing cosmetic items and outfits from the Dragon Ball Z series to Fortnite, and here’s everything we know about this crossover, including the release date and leaks.

Epic Games have brought a plethora of different crossovers to Fortnite, with popular fictional characters like Spider-Man and Indiana Jones becoming available as cosmetic skins for players to unlock.

The recent Naruto crossover added new anime skins to the battle royale title, and Epic Games now have plans to bring even more fan-favorite anime characters. We’ll go over everything we know about the Fortnite and Dragon Ball Z crossover.

Fortnite x Dragon Ball Z crossover release date

Epic have confirmed that the Fortnite and Dragon Ball Z crossover is set to release on Tuesday, August 16, just 3 days before the release of the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie.

This makes sense as Epic Games have previously released cosmetic sets for Uncharted and Doctor Strange around the times their respective movies were released in theaters.

Well-known Fortnite leaker Shiina has also claimed that we could see a Dragon Ball Battle Bus similar to the one in the Naruto crossover.

Fortnite x Dragon Ball Z crossover leaked skins

Although we know that the Dragon Ball crossover is arriving on August 16, there is still no word yet on what new cosmetics will be on offer.

On July 18, HYPEX tweeted that the Fortnite x Dragon Ball Z collaboration will feature 4 different skins, claiming that Goku, Vegeta & Beerus are confirmed to arrive in the battle royale title.

The leaker then added that while the fourth skin is currently unknown, it will most likely be a female character like Bulma. Players might be able to unlock these outfits by completing tasks similar to the Nindo challenges in the Naruto Rivals event.

Leaked Fortnite x Dragon Ball Z Kamehameha Mythic

A few leaks also suggest that the Dragon Ball Z collaboration will bring a brand-new Kamehameha Mythic weapon to Fortnite. While it’s unclear how this will function, it will most likely let you fire power blasts at your enemies.

It’s worth keeping in mind that these are currently just leaks, and this information has not been confirmed by the developers themselves. We’ll keep checking for any official announcements on what will be included in the DBZ crossover in Fortnite.
