How to complete Fortnite Season 6 Week 1 challenges
Fortnite Season 6 is here, and it’s brought with it a fresh set of Weekly Quests to complete for bonus XP, so here’s everything you need to do in Week 1.
With a new Fortnite season comes a new Battle Pass, so if you want to get a head start in unlocking the Spire Assassin at Tier 100, now is the perfect time. To give players a weekly boost, Epic Games offers players a series of Weekly Quests for a ton of XP.
Season 6 is here, and Epic wasted no time in giving players a series of Quests to complete. As it’s a new season with some brand new mechanics to get to grips with, these challenges act as introductions to the new mechanics.
Here’s everything you need to do for Season 6’s first batch of challenges.
Fortnite Season 6 Week 1 Quests
Week 1’s challenges are live in Season 6, so we’ve got every challenge, along with some top tips on how to complete them.
Here’s the full list of Fortnite’s Week 1 Quests:
- Find golden artifacts near The Spire
- Craft a Hunter’s Cloak
- Collect mechanical parts from vehicles, trailers, buses, or tractors
- Hunt Wildlife
- Craft Mechanical weapons using mechanical parts and a makeshift weapon
The Quests that kick-off Season 6 aren’t as tough as those available towards the end of Season 5, as they are mostly there to get players used to the new season’s mechanics.
If you search around The Spire, you’ll find three golden llama heads. Fortnite.GG has created a map of their locations, so simply hold interact on them to progress the challenge.
New to Season 6, wildlife now inhabits the island along with players. Chickens, boars, and vicious wolves now roam the island, and you need to hunt five of these animals. This challenge is quite simple, just by playing the game you’ll naturally find these beasts, so kill them to progress the challenge.

And continuing this theme, the Legendary Challenge asks you to craft ten items. This challenge disappears when Week 2 begins, so make sure you get them done quickly.
