A fresh batch of Weekly Quests for Fortnite players to complete is officially on the way, so here’s everything you need to do in Season 6, Week 8.

Weekly challenges release every week in Fortnite, allowing players to earn a ton of extra XP to help complete the Battle Pass. Following the latest update which unvaulted the Infantry Rifle and Tactical Shotgun, we’re now in Week 6 of Season 8.

Players will have a series of Quests and a Legendary challenge to complete, so here’s everything you need to do in Week 8, and some top tips on how to complete the challenges.

Fortnite Season 6 Week 8 Quests

Fortnite season 6 guardian spire

Thanks to Fortnite leaker and data miner iFireMonkey, we can see the challenges ahead of time. They are set to release on Thursday, May 6, at 9 AM EDT / 2 PM BST.

Here’s the full list of Fortnite Chapter 2’s Season 6 Week 8 Quests:

  • Collect research books from Holly Hedges and Pleasant Park (1)
  • Use launcher from Guardian Towers (3)
  • Open chests at The Spire or Guardian Towers (2)
  • Damage Opponent within 10 seconds of landing (1)
  • Dance in Durr Burger Kitchen (1)
  • Use Firefly Jar at the Pizza Pit (1)
  • Drive from Durr Burger to Pizza Pit without exiting a vehicle (1)

Unlike Week 7’s, which would mostly occur naturally, you’ll have to bear these challenges in mind while trying to score Victory Royales in Fortnite.

While rotating into the next safe zone, make sure to visit the Guardian Towers around the map. Open two chests, then use the launcher to fly from the top of it. You only need to do this three times, so just visit every Guardian Tower you see.

Team Rumble is the best place to damage an opponent within 10 seconds of landing. Get some high ground, then glide down on top of an unwitting opponent and quickly deal some damage to easily complete this quest.

With a bit of forward planning, you can easily complete the final three challenges in one match. Catch a firefly, drive a car to Durr Burger Kitchen, dance inside, then drive to Pizza Pit and use the Firefly jar.

Once we have more information about Pleasant Park and Holly Hedges research books, we will release a full guide on where to find them.

There is also a Legendary Quest that players can complete for some bonus XP. You need to destroy 500 structures with fire, with XP being rewarded for every 100 structures destroyed. Either catch some fireflies or find the Primal Flame Bow on the map and burn down every structure you see.
