Fortnite Alien Parasites

Fortnite Season 7 has brought an alien invasion to the battle royale. Parasites will soon start popping up to cause havoc across the Island. Here’s how you can deal with these Fortnite Alien Parasites.

There’s a plethora of new content in Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 7, including various map changesnew skins, and a new Battle Pass to progress through. The main theme of the new season is marked by an alien invasion.

This attack from outer space will also bring a host of Fortnite Alien Parasites to the Island. These creatures actually grant you some neat perks, but they can also be a hindrance. Here’s what they do and how you can deal with them.

How to get rid of Alien Parasites in Fortnite

Fortnite Alien Parasites

Alien Parasites are upcoming tiny creatures that will often appear in large swarms. You’ll initially find them inside of green eggs across Fortnite Island, and getting close will cause them to hatch and grab your head.

If you’ve seen any of the Alien movies, then you can already picture how these Fortnite Alein Parasites work. They will attach themselves to your face and refuse to let go. Luckily, you’ll still be in full control of your character when this happens.

There are only three ways of removing the alien creature. You can try jumping in some water, walking through fire, or entering a prop.

There’s a definite benefit to having these Fortnite Alein Parasites attach themselves to you. They will provide you with “enhanced mobility,” letting you move a bit faster. However, you’ll start losing some of your health to the little critter.

You might be in trouble if there’s no water near your current location on the map. We recommend finding a vehicle or starting a fire in those scenarios before trying to remove the Fortnite Alien Parasites from your face.

Are Fortnite Servers Down

It is always frustrating when the Fortnite servers go down and players can not connect to the popular game. However, there can be various reasons for when the Fortnite servers go down, so here is how to check the current server status.

Fortnite has skyrocketed over the past couple of years to become one of the most popular video games globally, with an awe-inspiring number of players having played the game.

With the arrival of Season 7 bringing a new Rick Sanchez skin, UFOs, a new ray gun, and much more, there are sure to be plenty of players who will be frustrated when the Fortnite servers go down.

Are Fortnite servers down?

No, the Fortnite servers are not currently down, and players should play the game without any troubles unless they are on their end.

We will update this piece whenever there are server outages and the developer’s updates of fixes for these issues when they are provided to the community.

Current Fortnite server status

It is important to note that the servers for the fan-favorite game will go down whenever there is a major update for the game, such as the most recent 3.19 update.

This is intentional, as Epic Games can not properly apply an update when there are millions of players on the servers, so they bring them down for a bit to apply updates correctly.

So if you are having trouble connecting, check to see if an update is being applied, which will likely be the reason.

However, if no update is being applied, you can go to the official Epic Games online service website, which contains an up-to-date server status for Fortnite and lets the community know when there is an outage.

You can also check the official Fortnite Status Twitter account. This account will post updates on the Fortnite servers being down and fixes Epic Games is applying to fix the problems.
