Fortnite Season 7 Week 11 Quests

Another batch of Weekly Quests have arrived in Fortnite Season 7, so here’s how to complete all of the Week 11 challenges for bonus XP.

As Fortnite Season 7 draws to a close, Epic Games have given players another content-rich update with the 17.40 patch, but a new week also introduces more Weekly Quests to complete. These offer players a ton of bonus XP towards completing the Battle Pass, so they are well worth your time.

We’re now in Week 11 of Season 7, so we’ve got every Quest as well as some top tips on how to complete them.

Fortnite Season 7 Week 11 Legendary challenges

Fortnite Season 7 payphone

Fortnite Season 7’s Week 11 Legendary Quests launched on Wednesday, August 18, at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET / 3 PM BST. These only last for a week, so you’ll need to complete them all before Week 12 on August 25.

Here’s the full list of Week 11 Legendary Quests:

  • Get Slone’s orders from a Payphone (1) – 15,000 XP
  • Catch fish at fishing holes (5) – 14,000 XP
  • Collect a vintage can of cat food in Catty Corner or Craggy Cliffs (1) – 30,000 XP
  • Collect a vase of flowers from Lazy Lake (1) – 30,000 XP
  • Harvest Wood (250) – 30,000 XP
  • Talk to Joey (1) – 30,000 XP

Week 11’s Legendary Quests are simple for the most part and can be completed naturally as you play. But as with every week, you must first get Slone’s orders, and you can check out our guide on where to find the Payphones.

Make sure you catch five fish and hit trees to harvest the 250 wood quickly. And while you’re playing, make sure to stop by Dirty Docks so you can find and talk to Joey.

We also have full guides on how to collect a vintage can of cat food and how to collect a vase of flowers from Lazy Lake.

Fortnite Season 7 Week 11 Epic challenges

Saucer in Fortnite Season 7

Fortnite Season 7’s Week 11 Epic Quests go live exactly 24 hours after the Legendary, on Thursday, August 19. You’ll have until the end of the season to complete these challenges.

Here’s the full list of Week 11 Epic Quests:

  • Travel in a Saucer (2000) – 30,000 XP
  • Use the Recon Scanner to spot an Infected Wildlife or Tresspasser (1) – 30,000 XP
  • Interact with equipment at any IO radar dish base (1) – 30,000 XP
  • Deal damage in alien biomes (150) – 30,000 XP
  • Mark an Alien Parasite (1) – 30,000 XP
  • Dance with an Alien Parasite at Believer Beach, Lazy Lake, or Pleasant Park (1) – 30,000 XP
  • Go for a swim with an Alien Parasite (1)

Fortnite’s Week 11 Epic Quests are quite straightforward, but you’ll need to go out of your way to complete them. Fortunately, three of the challenges can be completed in one go:

  1. Head to Believer Beach or Lazy Lake and try to find some Alien Parasites.
  2. Once you’ve found them, mark them, and then let them attach to you.
  3. Once attached, dance in the named location.
  4. Swim in either the sea or the lake, and you’ll have completed three Quests in one match.
Fortnite Alien Parasites

The rest of the quests aren’t too challenging. Simply hop into a Saucer and fly around until you travel 2000 meters. We have a separate guide for finding the IO radar dish bases, so head over to one and interact with equipment there.

While you’re at one of these bases, be sure to collect a Recon Scanner to use on Infected Wildlife or a Trespasser. The latter can be found roaming around Holly Hatchery, so make your way there.

Once you get there, you can point and fire the Recon Scanner at a Trespasser from a distance. There are also Alien Biomes in that area, so deal some quick damage to them to finish two Quests in one go.

Best Fortnite guns in Season 8: Every weapon ranked

Fortnite Season 8 has a wide assortment of great weapons to choose from, and here are the best ones in the game.

Published

Sideways weapons in Fortnite

Fortnite Season 8 has brought plenty of changes to the game, including new types of weapons. Here’s a list of all the best weapons that are currently in the battle royale.

There were various new additions to Fortnite when Season 8 arrived, including new skins like Carnage and unicorn Fabio Sparklemane. The most notable change to the game is the new Sideways dimension.

This has brought some cool new weapons that you can unlock in the battle royale, while older guns have been vaulted. This guide will go over the best weapons you can use in Fortnite Season 8.

Best guns in Fortnite ranked list

Recon Scanner in Fortnite

Now that the Alien Invasion is over, Epic Games have scrapped various IO Tech and alien weapons for the new season. There are only a few Exotic Weapons currently left in the update.

Some weapons are more powerful than others, and we’ve ranked them based on various different factors, including account stats, community feedback, and gun performance in Season 8.

Here’s are the best weapons in Fortnite Season 8:

  1. Sideways Rifle
  2. Rail Gun
  3. Rocket Launcher
  4. Sideways Minigun
  5. Dragon’s Breath Sniper Rifle
  6. Pump Shotgun
  7. Rapid Fire SMG
  8. Burst Assault Rifle
  9. Assault Rifle
  10. Charge Shotgun
  11. Recon Scanner
  12. Pistol

5. Dragon’s Breath Sniper Rifle

Dragon’s Breath Sniper in Fortnite

A single shot from the Dragon’s Breath Sniper is capable of dealing high amounts of damage to your targets and also sets them on fire. You can camp with this long-range rifle and pick off your foes from a distance.

If you want to get your hands on this gun then simply visit the NPC Pitstop just northeast of Boney Burbs. This NPC will sell you the weapon for 500 Gold Bars.

4. Sideways Minigun

This Sideways weapon has enough ammo to shred through any enemy builds that stand between you and an elimination. It deals 21 damage per bullet with a fire rate of 7 and a reload time of 4.75.

This weapon comes with a bonus perk that makes it more viable in combat. Once it gets heated, the fire rate increases so that you can shoot bullets much faster at your opponents.

As with the other Sideways weapons, you can acquire this after defeating the monsters in that dimension. It can also be looted from the chests that you find while exploring The Sideways.

3. Rocket Launcher

Rocket Launcher in Fortnite

This explosive weapon can be used to dish out a ton of damage to multiple opponents at once. It fires a single, slow rocket that spreads its damage across a wide area, with the only downside being the reload speed.

The reason this weapon ranks so high on our list is that you can also use it to destroy enemy structures immediately. Once your opponents have been weakened, you can finish them off with a shotgun or another weapon.

You can acquire Rocket Launchers from Supply Drops in Team Rumble. Once you’ve got one of these, you’ll be a force to be reckoned with.

2. Rail Gun

Rail Gun in Fortnite

This IO tech weapon can shoot straight through hard surfaces, making it a very effective weapon to use for long-range combat situations. You can use it to deal major damage from a distance.

Its biggest downfall is the visible targeting beam, which makes it easy for your opponents to track your exact location. So, you’ll need to be quick to fire before the target spots you aiming at them.

1. Sideways Rifle

Sideways Rifle in Fortnite

This Sideways weapon is perfect for players who prefer long-range combat. The Epic version of this weapon can dish out 32 damage with a fire rate of 3.5 and a reload time of 2.66.

Additionally, the gun has a bonus perk where it can deal extra damage to foes while it’s hot. This makes it an ideal choice for causing mayhem the next time you’re fighting for your life in The Sideways.

That covers our best Fortnite Season 8 guns. Sideways weapons have shaken up the game, and we can expect many more changes to arrive in the battle royale as the Season progresses.

We’ll update this list as new weapons are added and old ones are unvaulted. For more Fortnite, stay tuned to Charlie INTEL, and check out how to get Battle Stars and use them in Fortnite Season 8.
