How to complete Fortnite’s Season 5 Week 8 challenges
There are brand new challenges available for you in week 8 of Fortnite Season 5. Here’s how you can get them done while making your way to the next tier of the Battle Pass.
Fortnite Season 5 is set to end on March 15, 2021, which means you just have a short while left to get through the Battle Pass. Luckily, there are plenty of new weekly challenges that give you opportunities to earn XP, and get yourself some cool cosmetics.
We’re now in week 8, and Epic Games have brought brand new tasks for you to tackle that are available until Thursday, January 28. Many of these revolve around farms, as well as the destruction of property. Here’s everything that you’ll need to do.
Fortnite Season 5 Week 8 challenges
You can complete a total of eight seven Epic Quests at own leisure, along with a timed Legendary challenge that’s available until the end of the week.

While last week’s challenges focused on shields, the theme this time around is farming. Here are all the Fortnite Season 5 Week 8 challenges:
- Destroy apple and tomato produce boxes at The Orchard Farmers Market (3)
- Drive a car through the corn field at Steel Farm (1)
- Deliver a truck to Sunflower’s Farm (1)
- Pistol Damage (250)
- Collect Gold Bars (500)
- Blow up a gas pump (1)
- Distance traveled Gliding (3,500)
- Eat Fish (10/20/30/40/50)
As you may have noticed, three of the challenges will require you to head over to a Farm or Farmers Market on the map. You can land directly at the Orchard’s Farmer’s Market, and start destroying boxes there before rotating to the Steel Farm.
Aside from that, we have a fairly standard set of Epic Quests that you’d come to expect, and that are fairly easy to complete. Pistols are common, so you’ll have no trouble finding one, and then use it to deal a total of 250 damage to players.
You can gain some distancing while gliding right after you jump from the Battle Bus, and Gold Bars can be found in safes, tills, and washing machines. You can blow up a gas pump by heading over to a gas station, and then shooting one repeatedly.
You’ll earn 20,000 XP for each Epic Quest that you complete, and can earn up to 140,000 XP total by getting them all. Then you can increase your earnings even further by attempting week 8’s Legendary quest.

This requires you to catch some fish with a Rod, Harpoon Gun, or explosives before eating them. This challenge has different tiers, and you’ll need to eat 50 fish in order to complete it. This will net you a total of 55,500 XP.
That sums up many of the weekly tasks, and we’ll post separate guides for Farm challenges when they go live. Be sure to complete them before they expire on Thursday, January 28, 2021.
