How to dig up buried treasure in Warzone Fortune’s Keep easter egg
When you hop into Fortune’s Keep in Warzone Pacific Season 4, you’re able to dig up buried treasure, and we’ll go over exactly where you can find this hidden easter egg.
The addition of Fortune’s Keep in Warzone Pacific Season 4 is the biggest map change since Caldera arrived back in December 2021, and this location features hidden surprises for you to discover.
One of the Fortune’s Keep easter eggs is buried treasure that you can dig up in order to get your hands on some loot, and doing so will also complete one of the Mercenaries of Fortune Event challenges.

How to get a shovel in Warzone
The first thing that you’ll need to do is acquire a shovel, and these can be found around the buried treasure locations. However, they’re not guaranteed to spawn there in every Warzone match so we recommend collecting one from Graveyard on the west side of Fortune’s Keep.
They spawn more frequently at this POI so you can easily collect a shovel from near an open grave. However, you might encounter enemy players at this location so it’s best to stay ready for a battle.
Where to find buried treasure easter egg on Fortune’s Keep
Once you’ve got your hands on a shovel, you can find a buried treasure site on the beach north of the Graveyard. There are also other sites where you can dig along the coastline of Fortune’s Keep, including Smuggler’s Keep and the beach east of Lighthouse.

Here’s how you can dig up the buried treasure:
- Grab a shovel
- Head to a buried treasure site
- Look for mounds of dirt on the ground
- Approach one and press the prompted button or key to start digging
After you’re done digging, you’ll be able to get your hands on some high-tier loot, including weapons, armor plates, and gold. Some spots will give you more loot than others, and we found the richest buried treasure sites at Smuggler’s Keep.
