The “Griddy” dance became a huge viral sensation, and the developers have now implemented it in the game. Here’s how you can do the Griddy celebration after scoring a goal in FIFA 23.

How to perform the Griddy celebration in FIFA 23

After you’ve scored a goal, you’ll need to hold down R2/RT and flick the right control stick upwards twice in order to perform the Griddy celebration in FIFA 23. Your player will then start tapping his heels while swinging his arms back and forth.

The Griddy dance is named after its creator Allen ‘Griddy’ Davis and became a viral sensation after popular celebrities like LSU’s Ja’Marr Chase and Viking’s number 18 Justin Jefferson brought it to the NFL.

Since then, numerous players have performed the dance, and its intense popularity has led to the Griddy also being added to video games like Fortnite and Madden. Now, it’s available for you to try out in FIFA 23.

Now that you know how to perform the Griddy celebration during an intense game of FIFA 23, be sure to try triggering it after you successfully get the ball past the opposing team’s goalkeeper.

It’s worth keeping in mind that it may take a few tries to input the correct button combo. However, it’s not overly complicated, and it’s guaranteed that you’ll be able to get it done in no time.
