How to find and destroy Fortnite tanks
Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 2 features tanks, and here’s everything you need to know about finding, driving, and destorying them.
Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 2 has brought tanks that you can drive around in while dishing out damage to your enemies. Here’s everything you need to know about them, including how to destroy them.
Fortnite has gone through several changes after the Chapter 3, Season 2 update, including the appearance of red and blue lines circling areas of the island and the addition of a drivable Armored Battle Bus.
Another new addition is the tank that players can drive across the terrain while battling their enemies. If you want to know the Fortnite tank locations as well as how to destroy them then we’ve got you covered.
All tank locations in Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 2
Tanks can be found at locations on the Fortnite map that are controlled by the Imagined Order, which you can find by checking inside the red lines. Most POIs on the island are currently under the control of this organization.

Here are all the Fortnite tank locations:
- Command Cavern (2 tanks)
- The Fortress (1 tank)
- Tilted Towers (1 tank)
- Coney Crossroads (1 tank)
- The Daily Bugle (1 tank)
- Rocky Reels (1 tank)
- Condo Canyon (1 tank)
Command Cavern is probably the best of these locations to visit as two tanks spawn there. However, this POI is heavily-guarded, so we recommend packing some extra shield potions along with some epic weapons before heading there.
How to drive tanks in Fortnite
Fortnite tanks come with four seats, and whoever sits in the driver’s seat will move the vehicle and shoot explosives. You can aim the explosive gun with your camera controls and successful hits will deal 100 damage to targets.
There is also a seat for using the turret, along with two roof seats for players that want to fire their own weapons. The right side of the screen is where you can check your fuel and how fast you’re moving.

Tanks also come with a boost function that briefly lets you move faster in exchange for some fuel. If you’re worried about enemies hiding or approaching from far away then you can use the thermal targeting vision to spot them.
How to destroy tanks in Fortnite
If you want to take down a tank quickly then you’ll need to target the bronze panel beneath the turrets on the front side, as this will eventually leave the driver vulnerable and you can finish them off.
You can also try using Remote Explosives as they received a buff in Chapter 3, Season 2 that lets them dish out a large amount of damage to tanks. Another simple trick is to get in the tank with your enemy so that they can’t use it against you.

Fortnite Season 3 Battle Pass leak reveals Darth Vader and Indiana Jones skins
A Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 leak appears to have revealed that Darth Vader and Indiana Jones skins will feature on the new Battle Pass.
Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 is almost here, and a major leak has allegedly revealed some of the new crossover skins fans can expect, including Star Wars’ Darth Vader and Indiana Jones.
With Season 2 nearing its conclusion, attention is beginning to turn to Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 and what’s in store. One of the most exciting parts of any new season is seeing which new crossovers Epic has up its sleeve, after Obi-Wan Kenobi and even Wu-Tang Clan in Season 2.
Each new era comes with a new Battle Pass stuffed with plenty of skins to unlock, and Chapter 3 Season 3’s appear to have leaked ahead of time.
If the leak is to be believed, some beloved characters from classic films are set to finally make their debut in Fortnite.
In a May 25 tweet, respected Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR shared an image that seemed to suggest that Darth Vader and Indiana Jones are set to headline Chapter 3 Season 3.
The Battle Pass section pictured the iconic Star Wars villain alongside an original Fortnite skin, likely indicating that Vader will be the Level 100 unlock in the new season.
Indiana Jones, featuring the likeness of actor Harrison Ford, is also depicted on the “Coming Soon” tile. This could hint that the legendary archaeologist is the new secret skin, much like Marvel’s Prowler in Season 2.
The image came from 4chan, but the leaker claimed the chances of it being a fake mock-up were “extremely low.”
Rumors of Darth Vader coming to Fortnite as a skin have been swirling for some time, as plenty of other Star Wars characters like Rey, Kylo Ren, and The Mandalorian have all joined the battle royale in the past.

With the much-anticipated Obi-Wan series, which is set to see Hayden Christensen return as the disgraced Anakin Skywalker, releasing shortly before Season 3 gets underway, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Epic felt now was the right time.
Of course, this is all just speculation until the trailer for Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 drops and the Battle Pass is revealed.
