How to find and ring the 5 bells in Resident Evil Village’s Dimitrescu Castle

A key part of Resident Evil Village needs Ethan to ring 5 bells at once, and our guide will tell you where they are in Lady Dimitrescu’s castle.

To advance in Resident Evil Village, players will need to overcome a tricky bell puzzle that isn’t all that clear. Our easy guide will show you where all 5 of them are to shoot in Castle Dimitrescu.

Resident Evil Village has taken inspiration from previous games in the franchise to create a compelling, rich, varied, and horrifying adventure. Capcom manages to find a great balance between intense combat and spine-chilling fear in a truly atmospheric setting.

One of the game’s stunning environments has to be Castle Dimitrescu, home to the extremely tall Lady Dimitrescu and her three daughters. During the game, Ethan has to collect four Angel Masks, but his route to one of them is impeded by the Atelier Room requiring 5 bells to ring. Our guide will show where they are, and what you’ll need to do to conquer the Resident Evil Village bells puzzle.

Where to find the 5 bells in Castle Dimitrescu’s Atelier Room

Castle Dimitrescu Bell #1

In classic Resident Evil fashion, the first bell is very easy and hard to miss. Next to the stairs leading up to the gears and swinging mechanism, you’ll see a giant bell sitting on top of a table.

Simply walk up to it, save your ammunition by equipping your knife, and swipe at the bell. It will ring and should ignite a flame above the bell.

Castle Dimitrescu Bell #2

If you look at the picture containing the note telling you to “Let the five bells of this chamber ring out,” and do a full 180, then you can look up and see this bell.

As usual, take careful aim at the bell, fire a single Pistol round, and watch the bell ricochet around and trigger a new flame.

Castle Dimitrescu Bell #3

The third one isn’t too tricky, but you could waste some ammo if you’re not careful. On the aforementioned swinging device, you can actually see the bell swinging from side-to-side.

We find the best way to hit it is to ascend the stairs and wait for the bell to reach its peak close to you. You only need a pistol for this, so wait for it to reach its prime position a couple of times so you know when to fire, and then when you’re ready, go for it.

Castle Dimitrescu Bell #4

The final two bells are a bit trickier and can rightfully throw people off. For bell number four, stay where you are after activating bell number three and look towards the middle of the room to see the chandelier overhead.

Unless you can somehow manage to get it in one, chances are you’ll end up shooting the chandelier once, which will send it careening back and forth. You’ll then need to land a second shot to hit the now exposed bell.

And last but not least is the deceptive bell, as the fifth and final one isn’t strictly in the Atelier Room. Once more, remain at the top of the stairs, and to the left of the chandelier, you can see a window letting light into the room.

On the second column of panes, you’ll see the bell in the distance. Take one shot to break the window, and then another to hit the bell. You should now have all 5 bells ringing simultaneously, and the giant portrait of Lady Dimitrescu should open for you to proceed!

Apex Legends players want the Battle Pass system from Halo: Infinite

The unique Battle Pass system of Halo: Infinite is proving popular with fans, and Apex Legends players want Respawn to take notes from it.

Apex fans want Halo Infinite batte pass

The highly anticipated Halo: Infinite will come with a unique new Battle Pass system that’s proving popular with FPS fans, and Apex Legends players are asking Respawn for something similar.

There was a lot to unpack in Halo: Infinite’s multiplayer reveal which gave us a close look at a variety of different features. This included the brand-new Battle Pass system that comes with a unique feature.

Rather than giving you a limited amount of time to unlock various cosmetics, 343 Industries have made it so that a Battle Pass will never expire even when new ones come out, and you can pick which Pass to progress through.

Now, Apex Legends fans are asking for Respawn to try something similar.

Reddit user Raxus001 took to the Apex Legends subreddit to ask Respawn Entertainment to take influence from Halo: Infinite’s new Battle Pass system.

Whenever a new season of Apex Legends arrives, you’re presented with a brand-new Battle Pass to progress through. However, this means that you can no longer complete the one from the previous season.

“It would be a brilliant idea to have a menu tab in the lobby that allows us to look back on all the battle passes in Apex and purchase any that we missed,” wrote the Redditor.

Adopting this Battle Pass system would grant you the chance to get any cosmetic rewards that you may have previously missed out on.

Many players pointed out that this would profitable for both the fans and developers since Respawn would still get the money used to purchase new and old Battle Passes.

So far, the developers haven’t addressed this suggestion, and we don’t know if they’ll adopt a similar Battle Pass system to Halo: Infinite after the Legacy Update ends. We’ll keep checking for any new developments regarding this.

New “Zero Gravity” POI leaked in Fortnite Season 7

Some new Fortnite leaks have emerged which point to the arrival of a new Zero Gravity POI in Chapter 2, Season 7.

Zero Gravity POI in Fortnite Season 7

Some leaked audio files are pointing at the arrival of a mysterious ‘Zero Gravity’ POI to Fortnite in Chapter 2, Season 7, set to be a brand-new location on the map.

Fortnite Season 7 is already proving to be an exciting new start with all the impressive content that’s being added, including UFOs, an alien invasion, new Exotic weapon locations, and a Superman skin.

There have also been some major map changes, and some leaks have revealed that another new location might be on its way. This new “Zero Gravity” point of interest will reportedly bring a unique feature to the game.

low gravity in Fortnite

This leak came from notable Fortnite data miner HYPEX, who was digging through the battle royale’s game files. As the name implies, this new POI will reportedly create a “no gravity area.”

It will appear near the center of the new Season 7 map, and audio files in the game’s code give some credibility to the rumor. The data miner discovered unique audio cues that are specific to this new location.

These include sounds for jumping around in Zero Gravity, audio for entering and exiting, and a background sound for when you’re inside the new biome.

While we’ve seen low gravity in Fortnite before, the battle royale has never had a pure Zero Gravity POI in previous seasons. This sounds extremely exciting, but it’s worth keeping in mind that these are currently just leaks.

Epic Games haven’t officially announced another POI for Season 7 yet, so take this information with a grain of salt. If the rumors are true then the new mechanic will provide a unique gameplay experience.

We’ll keep checking for updates regarding this new POI, and will be sure to let you know once there are any new developments. For more Fortnite, stay tuned to Charlie INTEL, and check out how to level up the Season 7 Battle Pass quickly.
