How to find gnomes at Fort Crumpet and Pleasant Park in Fortnite Season 5

One new Fortnite Season 5 weekly challenge has you search for, and dig up, Gnomes at Fort Crumpet and Pleasant Park, here’s how to find them.

It’s time to tackle some new weekly challenges in Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 5. We’ll go over how you can find and dig up Gnomes at Fort Crumpet and Pleasant Park.

We’re now in week 5 of Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 5, which means we have a whole new set of weekly challenges to tackle. These tasks provide a great opportunity to earn XP on a regular basis and unlock new skins.

While last week’s challenges focused on tomatoes, the theme for Week 5 revolves around Gnomes. One new Epic Quest requires you to dig up Gnomes from Fort Crumpet and Pleasant Park. Here’s how you can find them.

Where to dig up Gnomes in Fort Crumpet and Pleasant Park

You need to dig up four buried gnomes from the two locations in order to complete this challenge. Keep an eye out for mounds of dirt in the ground that will glow when you approach them.

After you’ve found one of these dirt mounds, you just need to hit it with your pickaxe to collect the gnome. Once you’ve dug one up, you can rotate to the location of the next mound and repeat the process there.

You will come across some Gnomes on the ground floor of Fort Crumpet. These aren’t too difficult to spot as the location is small and there normally isn’t a lot of player traffic. We recommend that you land here and then collect them before rotating to Pleasant Park.

Once you arrive at the next location, you’ll need to comb the parts of the area that are covered in grass. You can find one near the center of the park and another one is by a fence in the garden of a house that you can find on the west side.

YouTuber wgwYT went over the locations of all four Gnomes in Fort Crumpet and Pleasant Park in the video below.

After you’ve dug up all four Gnomes from these areas, you will have successfully completed the Buried Gnomes in Fortnite Week 5 challenge. There is another task that has you dig up Gnomes at Holly Hedges as well, so you can head over there to collect some.

Quite a few of the tasks this week are Gnome themed. Another challenge requires you to bury two Gnomes in either Pleasant Park or Retail Row. These are some of the easiest ones to complete, and you can get them done in a single match by landing in the right spot.

The more difficult weekly challenges require you to take on greater dangers, such as eliminating 50 IO Guards. These are worth tackling since they provide high XP rewards, so be sure to try completing all of them before time runs out!

Where to find the black box in Fortnite’s Week 9 challenge

A Fortnite Season 5 weekly challenges requires you to find a black box at the crashed plane site. Here’s how you can get this done.

Fortnite black box location

One of Fortnite’s Season 5 Week 9 challenges requires you to find a black box at the crashed plane site. We’ve made it easier to find with the help of a useful map.

Fortnite Season 5 is set to end on March 16, and we’re now in week 9 of the update. This means that there are brand new weekly challenges for you to complete, and you have the opportunity to progress through the Battle Pass.

Week 9’s challenges are simple compared to previous weeks since you’ll mostly do tasks like dealing damage in water and shaking down IO Guards. One of these Epic Quests requires you to find a crashed plane’s black box.

Where to find the black box in Fortnite Season 5

To find the black box, you’ll have to make your way towards the location of the crashed plane, which is at the northwesternmost point of the map. It’s close to the Coral Castle POI on Fortnite Island.

It’s likely that you’ve already been to this area before since it’s usually rich in loot for you to collect. That leads to it also being filled with a high amount of player traffic, so you should be ready for a battle when you head over there.

We’ve made things a bit easier for you by marking the exact location on the map below.

The plane has been split into three parts, and you can find the black box near the middle section. Head over to the marked spot on the map, and you’ll be able to interact with it. That will result in you receiving 20,000 XP in the challenge.

At the moment, we don’t know for sure if this crashed plane will have some sort of major relevance to future events in the battle royale, but it wouldn’t be too surprising if it did. Stealthy Stronghold ended up being tied to the Predator crossover.

That wraps up this relatively simple challenge. You can earn some serious XP, and unlock brand new cosmetics by completing Epic and Legendary quests, so be sure to check out our Fortnite Season 5 Week 9 challenges guide.

Where to find Hidden Bunkers for Fortnite Week 9 challenge

Fortnite Season 5 Week 9’s challenge has players visit a hidden bunker, so here’s where to find them in Chapter 2.

Fortnite bunker door

Fortnite Season 5’s Week 9 Quests ask you to find a hidden bunker, so here are the locations for all three on the Fortnite map.

Bunkers have been a source of intrigue for Fortnite players since Chapter 1 when a mysterious bunker door arrived in Weeping Woods. No matter how the map changed, the bunker remained.

When the original map was destroyed and Fortnite moved onto a new island, these bunkers returned. Still, nobody knows what these bunkers are for, but with us only being a few weeks away from Season 6, perhaps we’ll know the answer then.

The Season 5 Week 9 challenges, which begin on January 28, ask players to visit one of these bunkers for 20,000 XP, so here are their locations.

Fortnite Hidden Bunker locations

There are three bunkers spread out across the Fortnite Chapter 2 map, and all of them difficult to find if you don’t know where to go. One is hidden underwater, one under a shack, and the last behind a bush at the very edge of the map.

To make things easy for you, we’ve put together a map showing where these bunkers are.

Fortnite bunker locations

The first bunker is in the bay off the coast directly to the south of Holly Hedges. Swim out to sea as if you’re going off the map, and dive under the water and you’ll find the hidden bunker.

The second bunker is found at the very north of the map on the island to the north-west of Craggy Cliffs. It will be found under a shack on the east side of the island. Simply break open the wall underneath the shack and you’ll have found the bunker.

The third bunker is on the cliffs to the south-east of Retail Row. Go along the cliffs to the east of Retail Row and you’ll stumble upon a large bush in-between two trees. Destroy the bush and you’ll find the bunker underneath.

The leaked Quests ask you to ‘”Find a hidden bunker???” so the first bunker may be the only one that will work for this challenge, as it pings with ‘???’ when you first visit it. So we recommend visiting this bunker first, but any of the three will likely work.
