1. Start your console in safe mode

Warzone error code 47 completely stops console players from launching the game. However, players have reported that starting their console in safe mode allows them to rebuild the missing or corrupted files that cause the issue.

Unfortunately, this can only be done safely on PlayStation consoles. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Turn off your PlayStation
  2. Hold the power button until there’s a beeping noise
  3. Select the Rebuild Database option once it boots up in safe mode
  4. Let the scan complete

2. Clear console cached data

If you’re an Xbox player or rebuilding the database didn’t work on PlayStation, you should try to clear the cached data on your console. This won’t delete your profile or progress, just the temporary files and data that can become corrupted.

Here’s how to do it:

PlayStation 4 & 5

  1. Fully power down PlayStation (don’t enter rest mode)
  2. Unplug the power cord from the back of your PlayStation
  3. Wait at least two minutes
  4. Plug the power cord back in
  5. Turn your PlayStation back in
